Food poisoning. I bought a box of chicken and coconut shrimp with Fried Rice for lunch. And I don't eat anything for dinner... after. Just drink water only. But at midnight I got a heavily stomachache and feel so sick. I got headache and choke out.Besides that I got diarrhea whole night. And still sick when I'm writing this review. Simple Asian-American island fare without all the bells and whistles. Definitely a spot where locals come for a quick and... delicious lunch. This is a very unassuming joint where you just go up to the window and order your food. The portions are quitegenerous and the entrees average out to be about $13 and it comes with a side. There are no current prices listed on the menuwhich was slightly inconvenient when you?re trying if you stay within spending budget for a family, but luckily the staff takingyour order at the window will tell you how much the item costs. It?s strictly take out only and there were a decent amount ofoutdoor dining tables available that seats 4 people per table. This place has lots of lunch plate choices. We got a 1) Chicken Katsu plate (this was good). 2) BBQ chicken plate (this was ok,... I think the chicken could be marinated better) and 3) combo E seafood & short ribs plate, shrimps are probably fromfrozen/nothing special, short ribs & fish tasted good. This was a surprise find while we were looking for a different restaurant off Google. I had the ribs, my BFF had katsu chicken.... Generous portions, modest pricing, and tasty flavors. Best surprise? The best Hawaiian MacSal I've ever had. Read more
This Hawaiian bbq mixed plate to-go stop is mom and pop owned. It's half decent for a quick bite but there's nothing special.... The prices here are very reasonable and the owner is convivial. However, it's strictly outside patio seating only. Read more
This place is legit. Kalua pork comes in a massive portion and has a nice and smokey flavour. Includes a healthy serving of rice... and some decent pasta salad. The honey walnut shrimp was good too. A cheap spot to get a big meal that packs a lot of flavour. Read more
No frills restaurant with outdoor seating-large portions at a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend if you just need a... quick place to grab a bite to eat! We had the fried fish, garlic shrimp and mochiko chicken-would definitely order the garlicshrimp again! Read more
