The food is not so great, i mean i did get a panini so maybe it's just those that suck. The only reclining chairs are in the... Directors cut auditorium, i have 3 stars for the nice seats although the lack of someone coming to serve you and having to getup and order food or drinks to be then delivered and missing half your movie is a draw back. We went to Recency theater on senior day special on Wednesday ,the projector wasn't working so they cancel the 1:20 show ,then... they told us it would be fix for the 4:20 show .so we called and called all we got was recording finally we called differentnumber ,the person said it wasn't fixed yet ? Recording also said that they have all day Sunday special for $6.50 ,also thewebsite says 6.50 all day Sunday . we went there Sunday to our surprise it wasn't$6.50 they said they need to refresh theirrecording message and website . Easily the best movie theatre in south county. Possibly even the best movie theatre in all of Orange county. Big, spacious... auditoriums with amazing sound quality and acoustics. Giant curved screens that are properly masked for aspect ratio. Brightprojection (the importance of this cannot be overstated). Extremely reasonable pricing. Plus they show all the good art housefilms and Netflix films other regional theatres won't play. And unlike nearby multiplexes, they won't make you sit through 30minutes of trailers before the movie starts or preselect seats. Well maintained, luxurious, and classy. A smaller theater which has recently been upgraded from it's older decor. Lobby clean, concession stand easily accessible,... prices decent, and friendly staff. The actual theater seats were comfortable and basically your typical movie theater. Buy alarge popcorn and drink and receive free refill, even though portions are of good size. Overall great spot and plenty of parkingto the side. Read more
