Reviews for Nirvana Grille in Laguna Beach, CA
We ordered some food items for Thanksgiving dinner. I arrived promptly at our scheduled pickup time at 1pm. It was pre-paid. At... 2:23 we were finally given our food. The woman wearing the black and white striped shirt was rude and unapologetic for the factthat our order wasn’t ready even close to the time it was expected. I can understand running a few minutes late but not anhour and a half on a holiday when we have people waiting for us for a meal. We bought this to make it easier, not harder. Idon’t recommend ordering for Thanksgiving or holidays. They were a disaster. If the woman hadn’t been so rude andunapologetic about the fact we had to sit in their restaurant for almost 90 minutes while they tried to get their stuff in orderthen I wouldn’t have made this review. Her lack of any remorse for their failure to be prepared and her snotty attitudetowards me when I finally got upset at them for making is stand there and wait forever is why I took the time out of my day toreview instead of letting the entire incident go. I really recommend this place. We were last one in the restaurant and they are about to close the kitchen but they were well... coming. The food was really good especially the prawn scampi was perfect. I can tell the margarita was ok but still I like tokeep it five star. I like the place alot Read more
One of my favourite places to dine. The menu is seasonal, portions are generous, ingredients are fresh, and everything is... delicious. Vegetarian and gluten free options available, and a full bar. They have a menu for young persons (kids). The serviceis always friendly and inviting. I've gone with friends, on dates, and with children. We like to dine here before going to theLaguna Playhouse or Pageant of the Masters. It's across the street in close walking distance. On our last visit, we had theRoasted Poblano Chile, Wild Mushroom Ravioli, Chicken Wontons, Filet Brochettes, and Organic Gnocchi with a Chicken Breast side. For dessert, we enjoyed the ice cream: House-Made Goat Cheese Maple (surprisingly good, tangy and sweet), House-Made Cinnamon, and Dark Chocolate Truffle. Definitely worth a visit, and highly recommended. Read more
Cozy and plush restaurant with a nice bar. Food is excellent with good choices for vegan/vegetarian. The ravioli and cauliflower... were our favorites. Good selection of wine, beer and cocktails. Helpful and friendly staff. Read more
Food was delicious, the drinks were awesome! Our bartender was great but the food took WAY to long. We got there almost 2 hours... ahead of time to see the Yoga Play at 7:30pm. However, we just barely made it to our seats before the play started. Read more
Small and quaint atmosphere. Parking available in adjacent lot. We paid $10 for valet, $20 if you are staying all evening for... Pageant of the Masters. Food was excellent! Great service. Seems to be a HH favorite amongst locals. Read more
Best spot we could have picked in Laguna Beach (and Southern California)! Wandering around and stopped by to check out the menu... and it definitely did not disappoint!! We landed on mostly the late night happy hour but both this and the regular menu lookedgreat! Drinks and food were amazing with great service and new friendships formed. As a mostly out of towner, will definitely beback when back in SoCal. Read more
I was here at their grand reopening and it was absolutely lovely, the food was certainly a bit pricey but it was absolutely... worth it, I love that they change the menu frequently and I would certainly have their rack of lamb again if they have it. Read more
