I almost didn't go to this restaurant tonight because I was reading all of the reviews about the slow service, but still went... because their menu seemed so good, and I'm so glad I did. The food was outstanding. I asked the owner about their ingredients,something I'm very particular about, and he was very proud to let us know that they only use the freshest ingredients, that arenot only organic, but the meats are grass-fed, and he uses NO industrial seed oil on anything - which is really hard to find arestaurant that does this. Everything is freshly prepared and made each day, and I'm more than happy to wait a little longer formy food knowing that it's of the upmost quality. We chose this place as a birthday dinner for a friend and we feel we have chosen incorrectly. Now I understand why when walking... by the place the waiter or owner felt the need to come out and show us the restaurant and the menu. We had friends in the groupcome before and say the food was excellent here and they must have had an one off experience because the experience we had wasabsolutely terrible. We were one of their earliest groups there. Yes we were a large group of 10+ but honestly at that pointthere were no other tables. It took them OVER AN HOUR to get us our food. On top of that they missed an entree for one of ourguest and everyone’s food was either cold or just lukewarm. If you’re gonna charge $45 for a skirt steak you better know howto cook it in a timely manner and not serve it cold. We were all hungry at this point and did not send our food back, but wehonestly should have. I could see they were short staffed but honestly, I think even a smaller staff could have handled ourtable if they were halfway competent. I would leave zero stars if I could. The food is mediocre for the price. The owner who seated us was extremely rude and... dismissive. We had to ask for menus, water and drinks. It took an hour to get our food and when it did come only part of ourparty got served. Half of our party had to wait to get their food so we all ate at different times. I ordered the octopus saladminus the sausage. When he finally served it to me it had sausage in it. When I told him the salad had sausage in it and Iordered it WITHOUT sausage he told me there was no sausage in the salad and gave me attitude. It was the worst customer servicefrom start to finish we had ever experienced at a restaurant. Horrible experience. To top it off, when we got our credit cardbill we noticed he added his own tip to each one of our tabs! He deserved absolutely no tip!!! We actually deserved a creditfor the pain and suffering! I feel bad leaving this review but my family and I love trying different food so we stopped at this spot to give it a try. ... First off the scene is very nice and welcoming. We sat outside and were excited to try the food. That unfortunately was thebest part of the night. We ordered the empanadas (chicken and beef), they were average at best. The chicken was eatable butthe beef tasted sour and we did not eat them all. Next we ordered 3 organic burgers 2 medium and 1 medium rare. $23 each andthe $42 salmon. Immediately we returned the salmon to be recooked! It was completely raw and only seared on the outside. Theburgers all were completely raw as well and the bread dry and crumbly. I told my 2 teens not to finish them because I did notwant them to get sick. We left our uneaten burgers on the plates and asked for the check. Not once were we asked if we likedour food even after the manager and server looked at all our partially eaten plates when we asked for the check. Never againwill I spend money on this place. The food was excellent and came out quickly! Parking in the area is a challenge! But the food and atmosphere is worth it!

This was so delicious it’s hard to put into words. The place looked small from the outside yet elegant. We got a chance to... sit inside and watch the magic happen. Every plate that passed by made our mouths water. We are new to Laguna and so far it isthe best tasting food we have tried. You may even get lucky to witness italian humor amongst the cook and the servers ????. The food was cooled to perfection and every bite was tender. I had to tell my self to eat slower just so it lasts longer. Impressed !!! Read more
I would post 6 stars if I could.We found this place chance and very excited that we did! I had the cap steak and it was... excellent. My Wife had the bass and it was cooked to perfection. We highly recommend the artichoke as well. So good!!! Ourserver made our decision making much easier due to his knowledge of the items on the menu which is always great. It would benice if they did have at least one option of non alcoholic beer though. I’m sure they will next time.???? Read more
