This place was quite good . The service was great , friendly and always attentive and smiling making me feel comfortable and... giving me the best recommendations from their Menu. I ordered Shrimp ????with Garlic that was delicious , bread on the side todeep on the buttery garlic juices , I also have the salad with mussels. Really good combination . The waiter was really nice andthe bartender was very attentive as well when he brought my beer . I can tell they have good management . enjoyed my meal , thenice weather and that tourist vibe when you go places you haven’t been even though we are from Around the Area .. We were looking for a place to have real good food and a great experience. The food was very good. If you want a selection of... mussels, this is your go-to place. We ordered 3 appetizers: truffle fries, oysters which both came hot (temp wise) so that's nodisappointment, and of course, escargo - which would make me come back here. It hit the flavor we were looking for! Our entréeswere the Salmon bursting with a coconut tang and the leek that made this broth an unstoppable dip for my leftover bread from theescargo. The salmon was cooked perfectly! This dish is highly recommended. The orher entrée was the beef bourguignon. It wasokay for us. Some of the beef turned oht a little dry already, but the flavor was perfect. We should have tried the pork insteadand will do next time. Dessert? Of course! The almond tart made the day! Why 4 stars? We had to repeat our orders many times.The flies in the patio area. One of the table hit a fly with the menu and ended up by us. Lol! But will come back here again. Food was great went with two family so sampled a lot of the menu. Had the Hanger steak, Ceasar with grilled chicken, Pork Shank,... Boeuf Bourguignon and sides. Kids had Mac and cheese, grilled chicken and meatballs. Kids gave a thumbs ups to their food.Service was ok but it was the waitress first day. Always solid Belgian fare in a surprisingly European atmosphere. More importantly, a great selection of Belgian brews with... correct glassware. There isn't a more honest restaurant in Laguna. Read more
There is definitely room for improvement. Their specialty is mussels and they have a variety of flavor options for mussels. If... you like mussels this is the place to be. If you like Belgium beer, this is the place to be. The staff is okay, not mean butnot very friendly, they lack refinement. What we ordered wasn't great, but it's an interesting place and would like to revisitto try different mussels. Their bread and butter is good though, the bread came out warm and soft, butter was one of thoseindividually wrapped butter which I looked down on, but had to eat my words because those sweet butter were good with nice warmbread. This was an interesting place to eat. Tucked in under and around an art gallery, we almost missed it but I'm glad that we... didn't. Laguna is one of my favorite places to visit and this didn't disappoint. The servers and service staff was helpful andnice. The food was great (even though they served fries with mayonnaise dip...I don't understand but some would like it) I hadthe Salmon and cauliflower au gratin which tasted flavorful and didn't over fill me. If I am in the area again, I willdefinitely keep this spot in mind for good places to eat around town. Read more
