This was my first time at Nut Wood winery. Our large group celebrated Patti Swift Birthday. We received the most outstanding... customer service. Thank you ???? for bringing out those silver knives used to cut Patti?s two cakes. The ambiance, the naturaloutside beauty and the quality of food were just wonderful. Great date night , girls night out , brunch , you name it. I especially love that they have such a cute and well behaved dog and... cat roaming around the outside. There is live music at times. And the wine of course is fantastic. I was worried how I wouldfeel in the area but I felt completely comfortable. So quaint and cute with southern charm? and southern bugs. If you are going to walk around and take photos, watch your step! I... stepped on a fire ant hill and have literally 23 bites on just one foot and my foot is all swollen and gross. Anyways, the wineand food were great. Friendly service. Will be back! This is definitely a place you want to add to your list of stops while traveling in the southeast. Easy to get to from... interstate 85, the Nutwood Winery has all of the charm of a southern colonial home, from the columned house to the expansive,multi-roomed tasting and dining facility. This was our second visit and it was even better than the first! The staff arealways very attentive and friendly, and the selection of their local signature wines is over the top. The pork tenderloinsliders as well as the pecan encrusted chicken finger salad were both masterpieces in their own right and very satisfying. Theyhave amazing wine slushies to savor any palate, and they are only one of five wineries in the country to serve a delicious wineice cream. Clean establishment, friendly people. One of the largest wineries I've been to. Loved the live entertainment Wine tasting was... very nice....definitely gave you enough to taste and enjoy. We also got the fruit and cheese platter, was plenty for 3 people.The prices were decent. Service was not the best. Yes, they were somewhat busy but we had to constantly find help...Otherwisewe would still be waiting. The winery itself was very peaceful, quiet.
