I'm visiting from Arizona. Last night my boyfriend and I decided to celebrate our 10 year anniversary at Agave's. Kudos to this... establishment they set the bar high regarding customer service, food authenticity and ambiance. Our server was Christian he wasabsolutely one of the best hospitality servers we had the pleasure to experience. He was friendly polite and courteous. Wenoticed it was a full house and he had many tables other than us. Christian had a smile on his face the entire time. Our foodwas hands down AMAZING the jalapeno cream cheese poppers with sour cream OMG. SMH the complimentary homemade tortilla chips withsalsa was worth the trip we also requested salsa verde delish. The food is prepared with quality ingredients and so authentic.The portions are gigantic had enough for a second meal for home. We also ordered the flan and sopapillas. Two of the ownersvisited our table several times to see if everything was satisfactory, both of them made us feel like we were local clientele.100% recommend visiting this Lafayette local business. Stopped in for dinner at this location and was quite disappointed. The salsa is not the same as other locations. No flavor at... all. The food is also bland and not great at all. The service was the absolute worst. 2 of us ordered burritos and waited over40 minutes while all the other tables around us came in after us was serviced, ate and was checking out. Asked the waitress andshe said it?s coming and came out 2 seconds later. I think she forgot about us. Read more
