Been too long since I've had more than run of the mill sushi. Ordered 4 rolls yesterday (leftovers for Brunch). Had to order... another 4 today just to make sure. Fresh, fresh, fresh,.. tasting as if you're on the waterfront & the ingredients are floppingon the dock. I highly recommend trying this warm, friendly place. Read more

It's been 5 years since I ate here last This was a place I accidentally found years ago, a hole in the wall that I was blown... away by and I am happy to report, nothing has changed. This is the best/worst kept secret sushi place in Lafayette and for goodreason. It's a tiny operation , you must place orders in advance and you will wait, but I assure you it is worth it. In all ofmy sushi adventures I don't think I have ever tasted rice so good. There is some evident passion and clear skill here. The menuwon't blow you away, the prices are solid and from the outside looks pretty normal. It's almost humbling to see and partakein. Just try it, I promise it will be one of the best things you ever tasted. Yes, it's that good. Read more

Absolutely amazing. The one man show is incredible. No smell of fish at all when you walk in which is the best sign you're about... to get great sushi. The white fish sashimi is a must along with the treasure roll. Went two night in a row and only didn't makeit 3 cause they are closed Sunday's. Read more

Not sure what happened based on the reviews but that was by far the worst. The spicy tuna was extremely fishy smelling. And I... absolutely love tuna. The seaweed I couldn?t even chew. The place seemed nice and very authentic but that was not good. Theowner even asked me if I liked as he stared at my plate only missing a few pieces of my 3 rolls I ordered. Not sure what happenbut there is no way this place has this many stars if the rolls are consistently like this. And after stating to him my concernsand being honest with him he still charged me for all 3 rolls. I paid came to my truck and made this review. That was adisappointing $15.62 Read more

We stopped for the night in Lafayette, Lousiana and stumbled upon this gem of a place. It was hands down one of the best sushi... we've had. The rice was so soft and everything we tried was tasty. We also tried their fried calamari which eas fresh. Theprices.sre reasonable and the service is excellent. This is a place to try and while we were there, we realized many who comeare repeat customers. Read more
