I?m not the type to leave reviews but this is disgusting. As you can see there is a light brown piece of hair inside of my... macadamia cookie. Very unsanitary. First off I must say the staff is great. Customer Service is always very kind and accommodating but there is hardly ever variety... of cookies or brownies in display case. They are always out regardless to the time I go. I?m sure if they only make a limitedbatch amount but this is the only great American cookie location that regardless to the day or time I go in never has inventoryto sell. It?s always a waste of time to go in there and when I call to see about the availability, no one ever answers thephone. This location has drastically changed in the last few months in the quality and quantity of products offered. At peak times... there are rarely fresh cookies and never any cookie cake slices. Quality of cookies on display has customers walking back out ofthe door. I have tried to visit 3 times in the last month way before closing and the display barely had any cookies or they werehard. With a family of 7 we frequent this location often. We buy ice cream, double doozies, regular cookies, and cookie cakes multiple... times a year. If I had to take a guess at how much our family spent here last year - I would guess between $800- $1,000easily. Not only do they have great tasting products but excellent customer service. The workers are genuinely happy to bethere and happy to help although I've seen many many different faces in the past year I've never met an employee who wasn'thappy. My only complaint- the point system! I was asked to sign up sometime last year for the point system and gladly did. I waslooking forward to an occasional discount. Every time I go, I ask if I received a discount. I've never gotten a straightresponse. I just didn't understand. Until today. A friendly young lady asked if I had the app. I did not. She said I wouldn'treceive the discount until I downloaded the app. So I went ahead and downloaded in store. It asked if I wanted to import mypoints. It can only be imported once. So of course I said yes. Only to find out that it started my points over at 0! I mean comeon!!! You guys can do better with explaining the point system! A good manager can change a customers experience and that?s exactly what the manager did here today!!! It was my first time... buying a cookie cake. The line of communication between custom and cake decorator is/was not direct which caused problems withthe custom designed cake. Manager did make it right!!! I would suggest that when ordering a custom cake design, make sure thedecorator articulates back to you what you are wanting that way everyone?s expectations are met. :) Read more
