Awesome fine dining experience and experience a piece of history that is still standing today. All food is fresh, made from... scratch and will guarantee to get you full. The owner came out to greet us, asked us about our dining experience and where wefrom and our server Louis was awesome too. If you never ate there before, I would highly recommend it. 7/8/21 Waiter Lance was a Sweety pie to my dinner companion and me. I ordered the seafood gumbo. I was very happy that it came... out HOT. There was a generous portion of seafood in the gumbo. The roux is very dark in color. It was a bit on the salty side,but not unbearably disappointing to where I couldn't still enjoy it. I also had the chicken dinner that was cooked wonderfullyin a ???? mushroom sauce and placed atop of roasted potatoes and 2 stalks of asparagus. The chicken breasts were REALLY juicyand prepared well. I took home the pork chop meal. Wow!!!! Loved the porkchops, too!!!!! The bread pudding is tasty,too...eventhough I'm not a fan of this dessert, I was curious and wanted to try it. I will definitely be back to bring myfamily, future dates and guests here. Read more
