Tonight on Kevin's Diner The Olive Garden restaurant in Lafayette Indiana was our destination for my celebratory birthday... dinner. I'm sure most have visited the Olive Garden at some point in time so I will be brief. Shannon went with the endlesssoup , salad and breadsticks. This is possibly her favorite meal at any restaurant. She enjoyed it very much and even had twobowls of soup. She had the Zuppa Toscana soup , I'm unsure of what ingredients are in it but she definitely likes it. I chosethe Tour of Italy for my dinner. It is generous portions of Chicken Parmesan , Lasagna Classico, and Fettuccine Alfredo. Thesalad , breadsticks and all of my entrées were delicious. Washed it down with a bottle Mich Ultra in a chilled glass. Ourhostess and server were polite and efficient. The Olive Garden is a great restaurant to get consistently good Italian fare at areasonable price. 5 stars for Olive Garden Here's to another trip around the sun. Really liked the calamari, spinach and artichoke dip. Alfredo is always good. Had a great waitress.
Although we did the call ahead seating, our name was put on a take out list of some sort and it looked like they were not going... to seat us any sooner. It was a crowded Mother's Day, but they did bump us up and we were grateful because our daughter was in arush to make it to work in time. In fact our food came out before we could eat our salad. Four of the 8 of us had the AsiagoTortellini Alfredo with Grilled Chicken and all of us really enjoyed it. My husband had the Chicken and Shrimp Carbonara andsaid it was delicious! Dinner was delicious and flavorful! All 5 of us were 100% satisfied! I had the fettuccine Alfredo, my brother had the tour of... Italy which is a nice dish for someone who can't decide on one thing. He said the fettuccine was his favorite on his platethough. Salad is always on point and who can go wrong with the unlimited breadsticks!!!! I'm a fan of dipping my breadsticksin the Italian dressing at the bottom of the salad bowl. There was a bit of a wait to get a table, but 100% worth it! Read more
Good service with good food. I only ever go for unlimited soup because I'm that person. Entrees are pretty pricey for the amount... they spend on ingredients so it doesn't seem worth it to me. Basically I go here when I'm too lazy to boil my own pasta. Friedmozzarella was mid. Read more
