Reviews for Java Jo'z in Lafayette, IN
I was disappointed in our experience today. The girl who took our order was kind. I am thankful, because the rest was not. The... small latte was almost $7.00. We didn?t expect such a steep price for a small latte, since the prices on the board are blackedout. The girl that handed the latte to us was rude and dismissive. The interaction was unacceptable, we were pleasant and didn?tcomplain about the price. The drink just taste like milk and sugar. And to not be kind makes the experience negative. I will notrecommend this coffee, nor can I brag about exception customer service. The prices should be displayed. Overall, I shouldprobably give a one, but the first girl was kind and the sugar milk was hot. 2 ?? ?? Read more
I've always liked their coffee. Today it was just plain bad, ending with a chlorinated flavor. I spent over $20 for two med... drinks and two tiny scones. Also, no biscoff! It happens to be one of the reasons I love to go there. There were no priceslisted on the menu, and the receipt did not show the prices either. It had food/drink items listed, and a total. That's a shadybusiness practice. It's understandable that prices have needed to change during the pandemic and due to supply chain issues.Completely understandable. There should still be a price list available. I can always get coffee elsewhere. Only 2 stars due tolack of price transparency, bad coffee, miniature scones, and no biscoff. Read more
Good coffee, good price. We had four orders and three people in the car and after every drink the cashier kept asking... "is... that all?" There was no one behind us. Read more
Great customer service, fast. I ordered the Latte with Almond syrup.
Fantastic little coffee shop. The staff is great, super friendly, and they take great pride in their work. Their drinks come... with little stickers that have encouraging notes. Mine happened to have a reference to Psalm 46:1, and then I came to find outthat the owner is also a Christian pastor! Huge flavor variety; I got an orange mocha. The espresso seems to be a darker roast. It's great to ACTUALLY support local businesses owned by godly people over Starbucks with all their liberal agenda. I definitelyrecommend this place! Read more
I like my new choice for a coffee shop. Local and good, inspiring messages, plus the pumpkin scones are better than any scone... I?ve ever had. This is my second week in a row and I plan many other visits. New to the area, and this was a great find. I hadno safety or health concerns during my visit. Do yourself a favor and stop by! Read more
An awesome alternative to Starbucks, though the menu is a bit basic... Luckily, I'm a simple man; I always have my usual large... vanilla latté w/ an additional shot... They use Square POS, so if you have a Square account, you'll receive an e-receipt, whichI thought was a simple- yet- refreshing caveat for a small, mom n' pop coffee shop. It's located in a VERY convenient spot, right off of your likely daily commute, and futures not 1, but 2 drive up windows for even faster service! Each drink come w/ abiscotti, and a smile. The four- star review was due to the lack of menu selection. Read more
The employees at Java Jo'z are SO very friendly, and the wait is always so much faster than any other coffee place in town... (Coppermoon, Starbucks, even Literato). Plus, the drinks are great! They have all kinds of flavors for coffee, and a nicerewards card. I would highly recommend stopping here! Photo of the ?secret? menu are attached ???? Read more
