My first time eating here was this weekend. It was a great experience. I will be back when I can as I can't always afford to... eat out as often. Good food, good ambience, good concept. One of the better restaurants around west Lafayette

My wife, I and one of our Friends from Purdue visited the restaurant last Friday and all of us exhibit sign of food poisoning... during the weekend. My wife vomited a few times, and our friend and I had diaherra for a two days. Even worse, all of us hadfever after that. I really think that more cooks are needed, especially during the busy hours. My feeling is that during thosetimes the meat was not cooked as throughly as needed because there were so many people waiting. One thing I felt bad is that thecooks even asked the server to join them for cooking, and in fact the stir fries of all three of us were cooked by the server. Go around 5:00 because it got packed at 6:00. Interesting concept of selecting your noodles or rice, along with raw meat and... vegetable choices followed by 4-5 ladles of mix/match sauces. Then you bring to the hibachi grill and they cook it on the spot!Staff was very friendly. Recommend either the yakisoba or Chinese noodles, much better than the rice. Didn?t realize we went ona Monday and it was a 2 for $22 deal! Comes with a complimentary soup/salad. Soft drinks and pot stickers, crab rangoons, etcare extra. The floors were dirty with litter and food that had not been cleaned. Our table had dirty food under it. It was pathetic that... I had to bring this to the attention of our waiter who just seems to walk past all the garbage while completely ignoring it. Hecleaned it up but while taking my husband's empty food bowl back to the kitchen, the crumpled napkin inside blew out and ontothe floor. How can the waiter be oblivious to the mess he leaves behind? Is he not concentrating on not making garbage on thefloor? He was kind enough to bring me a yellow bowl for my food allergies but didn't bother bringing one on my second trip up. I gave this place a second chance after a less than stellar first try many months ago. I recommend to not go within 1 hour of... them opening. The chef doesn't have the grill turned up high enough (my opinion). I chose all vegetable ingredients and it cameout like a barely warm salad. When I told my server he gave a discount but did not remove it completely from the bill. Considering I only ate 3 bites of vegetables (inexpensive items) I feel it was in poor taste to charge me at all. On anothernote the building is also freezing. Have had Mongolian style before and sadly this was not the experience I was use to and expected. The fun aspect was not there... and the meat selection and quality greatly lacked. The wait staff was great. But the overall experience was sub-par. Read more

7/23 Update: They will now take orders for you and make the plates and bring them to your table. There is no self-service for... now. Still very good value for the money. Highly recommended.
