These were delicious ???? The owner happened to arrive and took our orders. Super friendly and gave us all the backstory and a... sample of the barrel aged nitro coffee. Wish I had a tap for that in my house. We went with the chicken curry and the steak andcheese. Crust was top notch kind of flakey filled with warm almost stewed meat. The flavors are good! As part of an American/Australian couple, we are very familiar with meat pies. Pros: The flavor of these... are pretty good! Cons: It?s expensive for what it is. These are maybe $5 in Australia, yet $11 here. The pastry is a little dampinside - it?s been frozen and somehow reheated. We asked for tomato sauce and the employee gave us 3 ketchup packets and saidthat?s all he had. It would be tasty if the owners import some good tomato sauce to go with the pies! Seems under new ownership? Pies are quite rich and heavy. Tasty in small amounts. Be aware that they cannot provide you... nutrition information though (not even calories) and you can?t get it but water water here. Read more
