My son and I stopped by and it was a very pleasant surprise. Not a big place and the owner is very hands on operations. He is a... fascinating man that makes you feel welcome with an old world vibe. I love Vino's Restaurant. Vino is a character and makes dining there fun! The food is always fresh and excellent. Vino greets... you, serves you and plays the piano for you providing an overall delightful experience. We have had several family dinnersthere and brought business clients there for a treat, as well As a realtor selling homes in Lamorinda, I like to provide myclient's with a Gift Certificate to enjoy his "character cuisine" at their own leisure, as well as entertaining clients duringthe course of our touring. My family, including the vegetarian daughter all enjoy breaking bread at Vinos and I think the otherreviewer must have gone there on an off night. All I can say is that Vino's is not a place for a quiet evening, it is a placeto have fun and enjoy your excellent meal! He is correct that it is not a spacious restaurant. It is a reasonably priced placewhere you do get to know your neighbors and usually a jovial chattering amongst people at the nearby tables takes place.
