Wonderful place. You can see the bagels being made. I go sometimes 3 times a week. I would go every day but it wouldn't be... good for my waist..Really good hot coffee. Clean and friendly staff. Really great bagels. Freshly made on a machine behind a window that you can watch. It is very neat to see them being made. I... really wish they still had egg bagels and a note to those who like pumpernickel, the Black Russian Pumpernickel does not have awhole lot of flavor. For the non bagel lover they also have muffins and cookies. As well as many different flavors of coffee(coffee flavorings) and coffee ice cubes. I will say that I like it warm, and I am usually warm in this restaurant. The workersare quite friendly and able to get large crowds through quickly. First time, out of towner. These bagels are delicious! I had the bacon,egg, and cheese on an everything and it was everything... and more that I wanted! Love the saltiness/water they use. I lived in Jersey for 3 years and this is the closest tasting oneI?ve had yet!! SO good. Recommend! Read more
The bagels were fresh and they did taste good. It's a little hard to cut open at 1st, thought it was my knife. Will try another... bagel shop in Ocala to see how theirs are to compare. But it was definitely better than going to Sam's club or Bj's club to getthe bagels there. Read more
The bagels were awesome. Nova Cream Cheese omgosh sooo good. Friends brought us Bagels and we had to stop in to get more... cheese. The store was fairly clean. They have a bagel machine right there as you walk in. Pretty kewl. What wasn't kewl wasthe atmosphere. There was a woman in the kitchen cooking when I got to the register. My first time in didn't know who wasgonna ring me up. She NEVER smiled and offered someone would be right with me like you think she would. I waited at thecounter for a while standing in front of the register with the cream cheese I got from the case. The chick in the picture Iuploaded of the dining room Black hair glasses, long pony tail walks up to the register RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. She doesn't sayhello, welcome to Brooklyn Water Bagels, nope. She extends her left forearm and says "this" register is open. She's literallyright in front of me. If she extended her right forearm she could've slapped me lol. She says it again. "This" register isopen. Extending her left arm. Basically she wanted me to take a step...just ONE step to my right which I didn't do. I guessshe was having a bad day. I handed her the money. She didn't have to stretch or anything. She handed me my change. Kindaclosed the register loudly and started helping the next people in line. 5 stars on the food. 0 stars for the help. Read more
Finally found a local place that serves great tasting bagels. Today hubby had an onion bagel and freshly made vegetable cream... cheese. The cream cheese was mouth watering. I had the egg, bacon, sausage on a sesame bagel. It was so yummy and too big toeat in one sitting. Amazed at the cafe with the variety of coffee, drinks and even milk. My daughter who will only drinkalmond milk would have been delighted. Cafe. Clean and laid out to be functional. Outdoor seating is available. Service wasgreat. We took 6 bagels home with us and the cinnamon bagels are delightful. Needed to savor the freshness and the memory ofliving in the north. A++ will return with no hesitation! Read more
