Pulled up not knowing what to expect on a cold and rainy afternoon, couple of gentlemen playing a few rounds on a par 9 golf... course. Great people, excellent food. The owner Ray and his wife are genuine people who truly care about what they do. Weordered from trolly 27 which is the food truck out back and we loved everything about it! Drove through rotary rather than try to get down to A restaurant on the water - took 106. Saw the sign for Tavern 27 - had to... turnaround and try it out!! This beautiful rustic find is a wonderful expirence. The tapas are a full large serving. The gluten free and vegetarian... options are abundant. The piano table is a unique location and one to reserve if it is available The deserts are amazing, thebread pudding is some of the best that I have ever had. This review is for the Trolley, which is open Friday through Sunday from 8-3. The coffee, smoothies, and waffle breakfast... sandwiches were really fresh and delicious! Also service was very friendly. Prices were affordable and they take creditcard. The trolley itself is located off the main drag and has plenty of parking and outdoor (covered and uncovered) seating. Ended up here because our first choice closed earlier than expected, then waited for reservations and boy was that fortuitous... and worth it. The owner seated us by the fire, each dish was exquisite and perfectly seasoned, the staff was attentive, thedrinks were solid, and the piano player was the unexpected perfect touch that tied it all together. Then the bill arrived. Mycompanion and I had been discussing what we expected the bill to be, given this was two adults not holding back, having alcoholand desert.
