Good Italian food which isn't easy to find here in the lakes region. Good bartender on Friday night. Only qualm was the fox news... on at the bar. It's annoying and it makes everyone in the place that are trying to enjoy a dinner out have one sided politicalviews shoved in their faces. Whatever happened to no politics at the bar. Went in yesterday and ordered a Greek omlette and asked for it to be cooked well done without veggies put in and waitress... stopped me on the spot, said she didn?t know how to do that, abruptly left , did not return for over 10 minutes, came back andsaid No, we won?t do it. An absolute overall must-visit whether it's for drinks, apps, dinner or the whole shebang! Service was great even on my first... night there which was undeniably busy as can be! As somebody that has experience in the restaurant business, everybody hereabsolutely was doing their best to go above and beyond! Not only did our waitress and the owner come have a chat and make surethe everybody was pleased, but the very pleasant (I assume head of the kitchen) also came over to ensure that we were happy bothwith the food and service! Since our first visit, we've all been back maybe 3 or 4 times within the last ten days, becausethat's how good it is! I usually dislike olives entirely but the BRUSCETTA, it's so good. I've had it twice. Tonight we finallytried to save a little appetite for dinner and it was WORTH IT. The Ravioli alla Nadia was SO DELICIOUS, and so filling I tookmost of it home, but there was no way that any of it could go in the trash, the marrying of the scallions, tomatoes and saucewas divine! My buddy got the meatloaf and my goodness, it looked so good and was so much bigger than expected- he loved it andis 100% currently eating the leftovers (also totally enjoyed the perfectly cooked broccoliin garlic olive oil)! I've also hadthe Flatbread pizza, which I can say is wonderful as well. Drinks are delicious! The Italian margarita is definitely my favoritethus far- quality ingredients, no taste of funky sour mix, it is fresh and refreshing! I'm totally going back. Great food but its in a tricky location. In what seems to be just a location for garden style condos, is a hidden Italian... resturant where you will find amazing Italian food made from scratch. It took a few tries locating the resturant, which issituated in the covered parking area of the Paugus Bay Condos. Once we arrived we were surprised by the well appointed bar andseating area one interesting note; why were they playing 50?s music? It totally threw off the ambiance of what is otherwise anice italian resturant. The staff was very nice and helpful and we very much enjoyed our dinner. I hope more people take theopportunity to enjoy this very nice Italian food experience in Gilford. Read more
Excellent spaghetti and meatballs, shrimp scampi was outstanding. Very friendly staff and owners.
