This Sonic never has onion rings when we come here, when we ask specifically for ketchup with our food, they say yeah, but they... never do and we have to ring them again for it, then they bring out packs covered in some sticky honey like substance. So I goto the bathroom to rinse them off and its in a serious state... Then after a 20min ordeal to eat my sad potatoes, I find outthey made my burger wrong. Fast service and the food was good. I had a 3 piece chicken strip dinner, which included tater tots, Texas toast, and normally... an onion ring. The onion ring wasn't in it for some reason. They also have many drink variations. I had a cherry limeade,which was so good. Normally there is the drive in option where you order from your car and they bring it out. Just went to sonic 7/11/2022. Very disappointed with this experience. Ordered a five piece chicken tender meal with fries. Lady... who took my order confirmed I wanted fries and we ended up getting tater tots. Five piece was not a five piece. More like 3 &1/2 piece. Called to complain, lady on the phone said it was because their ?compensating?. I can?t even make this up. Anotherexcuse she used was because they had someone new working. I don?t want excuses. Middle of the week visit, almost 6:30 pm. The dinner line was long with a few cars at the car-hop stations. Finally got to the... order speaker (the pick-up window is around the corner out of sight).....waited for the greeting.....heard nothing. I figuredthat they were busy filling previous orders and needed more time before they got to me. Waited a little longer.....I said"Hello?".........nothing. I repeated this a couple more times and finally turned off my truck, walked around to the window, gottheir attention and asked if they were open. The person at the window replied "Yeah?". I had to tell them that they had a longline outside. Nobody noticed that there were no cars coming to the pick-up window for 15 minutes during a busy dinner hour. Thensomeone suggested that maybe someone should check the headsets........YA THINK?? Back at the truck I placed the order for twodifferent items. I said no to tots and fries but asked for onion rings, the reply was "We don't have onion rings." I said "Butthey are on your menu" and the reply was "No, we don't HAVE onion rings, we are out". Well.....I drove around to the window, theperson there held out a receipt and said "That will be $9.78". No apology or explanation offered. Nope, don't need the food. Read more

I have seen commercials on this place for years, but had never been to one until recently. Honestly I thought it was just okay.... No big deal. Tasted like average fast food hamburgers, and maybe a slightly above average frozen drink. Our freeze, or whateverit's called was like soft ice cream and candy blended together. Reminded me a bit of the m*flurry, but maybe this was a littlebetter. Food wasn't anything special. For having only two cars parked outside when we went, service at this location was a bitslow. The drive in concept is true to form, with ample parking stalls to choose from. I'm glad we finally tried it, but i doubtwe'll be frequent visitors. Might've been more into this back when i was in college. I could totally be see the appeal for ateen or young adult crowd who wants some snacks or ice cream during a late night hangout. Read more
