Maru was excellent. The barbecue bulgogi and ribeye steak was amazingly cooked to perfection. The wait staff was attentive and... quick. We also ordered the tteokbokki which at other places are too sweet or too spicy but this place the rice cake sauce washow I remembered it when I was young in Korea. This was a surprisingly good Korean BBQ restaurant! The staff were both very nice & hospitable, and the food tasted amazing ?... you can even take home whatever food (from the BBQ) you can't finish home! I highly recommend this restaurant. Read more
The food is delicious don?t get me wrong. The service definitely needs work. The main reason for the 1 star review is the fact... that they CHARGE a $15 fee if you decide to eat by yourself. That is ridiculous to be charged if you have no one to go with. Forthat reason any restaurant that is that needy for any extra $ will lose my business. Read more
I've been here a few times now. Service always with a smile. Food never takes awhile. Value is like a new style. Although this... place is geared towards multiple guests dining together, I have always gone solo. It can be pretty pricey for the menu itemsbecause they are meant to be shared but I save this for when I'm really hungry and splurge a little because it's so good. Read more

What an experience!!! Had dinner here last night with my wife and 7yr old son, and was not disappointed in the least. The layout... of the restaurant is really great, with open seating arrangements spanning along the length of the walls centered around thesereally cool grills. The staff was really nice to my son and even gifted him some ice cream with his meal. For our first timetrying a Korean BBQ restaurant, we couldn't have picked a better place. Highly recommend Maru if you're feeling tired of all ofthe burger places in LQ and want something different for a night. Read more

This restaurant is OK. Better than other korean bbq places in the desert but probably not up to the level of what you may find... in LA. But the best in the desert. Read more
