Terrible. I barely ate anything. The rice was crusty from sitting out. The corn was soggy and the chicken was burnt and just... terrible. I usually love El Pollo Loco. There was chicken on the grill that looked like it'd been sitting out for hours on end.I should've known better. Read more

Much better at the Palm Desert location. This restaurant was dirty inside. Floor and tables were soiled with dirt and food... scraps and no one there seemed interested in cleaning up. The air conditioner wasn't working and as such, the dining room washot and stuffy. The chicken had bones in it and the cilantro was dry and stale. So much potential; so little effort. There is Great Air Conditioning and a Cool place to sit in Chill mode! I ordered the Tosdada Salad and Chicken was very well... Shredded equally! Sadly other locations keep it chunky and unbalanced..Thank yoi! Read more
Food consistency has dropped considerably. They often forget things in your order. Just a few days ago they forgot my drink and... forgot to add one of my meals. Used to be one of my favorites to drive through because of the healthier choices but not so muchanymore. Read more
We ordered 3piece breast and wing dinners. The only thing slightly acceptable was the corn. Coleslaw looked and tasted like it... was scooped into the little container last week. The chicken was dry and hard like it had been cooked and sitting out days ago.When I lived in OC years ago it was my go to place. The chicken was moist and juicy like it just came off the grill as were thesides. I would rather go to KFC at least it?s consistent. Sad because I loved that fire grilled chicken? This is so bad it's almost funny. I love this restaurant, but do not go to this specific store. I ordered DOUBLE protein AVACADO... Bowl. Not one single piece of avacado, and I counted 3 teensy tiny pieces of chicken squares. The entire "bowl" is iceberglettuce. Oh wait! There are about 12 kernels of corn. I dug through the entire bowl and NADA! The guy we ordered from in drivethrough sounded stoned and possibly asleep entirely. Everything's pretty good it's just so come out with a excellent chicken or something that tastes incredible and then they take... it away and say it was just on trial or its seasonal... Would need some more information posted in the stores that way you don'tget your hopes up when you go out there lol Read more
