Really great interesting and unique take on Mariscos. Caribbean style from what they told us. Food ranged from good to very... good. Tilapia is what really stood out from the dishes. That and another fish dish with mushroom sauce. The most dramatic dishwas the Purgatorio Alta Mar, which we found can be ordered in a smaller size which we did since there was just two of us thatwanted to try it. It was about $80 and was definitely enough for two people. That?s the dish with the awesome mojarra. Servicewas hit and miss. Mostly good, but place was fairly empty and there was really only one real server and few others who helpedbring dishes and water and can tell they were new or untrained. This place just opened up not too long ago. Brought my parents for anniversary. We went on a Wednesday, we were the first one... there. At first I thought that it wasn't going to be good because no one was here, but man I was wrong. Waitress was very verypatient with us, and very nice. The hubby and I try to go out every Friday and try something new. The pressure was on because it was my turn to pick. I had no... idea what to choose! I knew I wanted something close and something some what healthy. Low and behold I go onto Google and try tofind a spot with good ratings and ended up coming across this place. I was skeptical about all the all star reviews but thatcertainly peaked my interest. We get to the restaurant and I didn't know what to pick! So I shyly asked our waiter what sherecommended and she said the seafood mocojete. Oh my stars!!! Best best thing I have ever had!! It took a little while for thefood to come but it was totally worth the wait and price. This place is a seafood joint so you are gonna pay a bit but the foodwas so flavorful and fresh its worth every penny. It's a whole in the wall but don't let that turn you away.
