Very unique place. It was fun to look around at the decor. Really good food. The chicken and sausage gumbo was very, very good.... Bison burger was well received. We split the banana pudding and it was great. Be sure you try it. The food was really good butthe standout here are the servers. I haven?t seen people that good, that welcoming with that level of service since before thepandemic. They made you happy to be there. The place is huge, spotlessly clean and bright. One of my favorite places where you can enjoy the taste of the southern food and enjoy the live music. First visit was work... lunch in 2016 and since then I started visiting this place. Many improvements been done but never changed the flavors of thetasty food! Live music, Bar, playground for your kids, big parking lot and you can enjoy the beautiful design. Highlyrecommended! Ate here for the first time because I saw very good reviews so I had high hopes. However, it was a but disappointing. It took a... long time for our food to be served and some of the food needed salt/ flavor. I ordered the catfish and shrimp with onion ringsand the broccoli cheese rice. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak with fries and macaroni. We both loved the shrimp,macaroni, fries, and rice. The rest of the food needed salt. Also loved the complimentary cornbread bites. I have worked in this area many times and when I realized I had to make a trip to this side of town I started looking for a... place to have lunch, I wanted something better than fast food. Well when this restaurant popped up in my search one of the itemsthat caught my eye was a Bloody Mary with Bar B Que CHUNKS on top of the glass. Unfortunately, soon after arriving andexplaining to our server how much I had bragged about the place based on a picture.... I included the pic just so you willunderstand why I was willing to drive to locate this place to begin with... Total Let down.. Dissapointment #1 Our server saidthey had NEVER Even seen the drink served before... Disappointment #2 Since they didn't have the drink, I thought I'd try oneof their " Buffalo Burgers". It had been a long time since I have had one for other locations and let me tell you, YOUR NOTMISSING ANYTHING... Water had more flavor than their Buffalo Burger... I'm sure they probably have some decent meals, but it wasa serious let down for us and we will NOT be back. Read more
We don't live near here, but after going once a while back, we went again tonight. Both experiences were great, with hot and... delicious food served pretty quickly for a Sat night. We were a bit needy this evening and apologized, but our waiter definitelytook care of us with a smile on his masked face. Read more
Food and service and atmosphere have always been good but man they have really stepped it up even better! The new menu items are... absolutely fantastic and delicious. Those street tacos are very good. I also ordered the chicken cesar wrap but ended up withthe regular chicken wrap which was good. I'll have to go back and order the Cesar wrap next time we are in the area forbusiness. Love the seating, menu items, the cleanliness and the atmosphere of the restaurant!! Read more
