Absolutely amazing. My wife had never actually had curry and previously had just had your standard chicken cutlets with ?curry?... sauce drizzled over them. We came here and within the first 10 minutes we knew it was going to great. The service is not servicebut something way better. The menu is super straight forward and even if you have questions they will answer everything on thespot. The food is ridiculously amazingly. By far the best curry I?ve ever had and set the bar super high for my wife. It is nowbecome a staple spot for both me and her and we recommend to everyone. There is literally something for everybody. This was my first time trying Indian cuisine and oh boy I must say I am pretty shocked! Everything was absolutely amazing... especially the customer service and hospitality! Just WOW! Where to start moving from DC to MD I didn?t think we?ll find another great Indian restaurant. Boyyy was I wrong .My... husband & I ate here 3x already but we did take out which was still amazing. Since the little ones were in school we decided todo a quick lunch date & sit inside this time. AMAZING! Okay . The drinks were good I had a strawberry Margarita & my husband hadthe Moscow Mule both delicious. Appetizer we shared the chicken lollipops. Main course we both shared goat and lamb (so muchflavor) my taste buds were dancing. We just moved from the city and we've been missing our last favorite spot, but this is way better! Some of the best Indian food... I've ever had on only the first visit. Literally every single thing we ordered came out tasting fresh, seasoned to perfection,and hot. This is definitely a gem in La Plata and we are so glad that we tried this place out. Also, we ordered 4 appetizers,cocktails, 2 main courses, and bread as well as 2 orders of samosas and 2 mango lassis to go and it was just over $100, thisplace is a bargain and worth every penny. The owner also introduced himself and he obviously takes pride in this greatrestaurant- he was warm and genuine- we appreciated the hospitality and are customers for the long run. Just moved to the area and was looking for a good Indian place... Holy cow, this is one of the top 3 places I've ever been to.... The owner/head chef welcomed us, was like family asking about our preferences and made a couple suggestions. Every one of themwas amazing. The cauliflower app is unlike anything I've ever had. I will have that every time now. The lamb curry is so good.They even have bollywood versions of cocktails, and the old fashioned with cardamom and Indian tea, is crazy good.
