We went on a Sunday for lunch. It was busy (football and the after church crowds) so we already expected that things would take... a little longer.... it took longer than it should have in my opinion. Long wait before anyone brought us menus, long wait beforebringing us our drinks, long wait before taking our orders, normal wait time for our food to get made and brought to us, onecheck in to see how everything was (after I just got done shoving the last bite in my mouth)... like I understand how thingswork in a restaurant when it's busy. However, I also know what acceptable times are for those types of situations. Personally, Ifeel back of the house (kitchen) did their jobs as expected. Front of the house could have used some work though. Maybe theywere short handed or something, I don't know. Probably will only go back if/when they're slow. Read more
This. Man is a musical inspiration to many. His rotation may be long but he brings folks in . we sing and dance and ignite the... Wikiup Strip. Their food was good but the attitude not so good. We went in and it was hotter inside the restaurant than it was outside. We... were drinking beers and ciders, plus having some appetizers. We were a party of 5. We were planning on having dinner and moredrinks and enjoying our evening. This really did not happen. We asked the server if they could turn on the air, that it wasreally hot inside and she said having one beer does not justify turning on the air. 1? 5 of us, we were all drinking. Apparently, they make so much money they can afford to lose our business. I think we had a total of 7 drinks because it was justtoo hot plus a big appetizer. When you drink alcoholic beverages, it makes you hotter, makes you crave water, not more alcohol. Oddly enough, the woman's bathroom was about 70. Maybe people should ask to have their table set up in the restroom, sincethis is the only place, they cared about it being cool. Being comfortable when I am spending my money cost this business 2stars, bad attitude 1 star. Likely won't be back. Read more
The best lunch I've had in lapine in years. Had the smoked brisket on a hoagie with fries. The fries are the best I think I've... ever had! the food is just clean ( not greasy) and just enough to fill you up. It was Less than $14 for the entire lunch withdrink. Pleasant surprise for this day and age. Wait staff was busy, but still attentive. I didn't catch the name. ???? Read more

Best customer service! Chef Mike, Morgan and Caroline are Awesome! The FOOD is soooo Good!
We've been living in La Pine about 6 months now. In the beginning we went to this place at least once or twice a week. Their... chef salad was our favorite, not anymore. The wait staff is made up of mostly rude women who have real attitudes and make thatvery apparent. When playing the slot machines you are on your own. They treat you like lower class citizens. When redeemingyour tickets they get to you when they want to. I waited 15 minutes at the counter for my money last time in there. By the wayif you want a beer or anything while playing you are on your own. You have to leave your machine and go stand at the counter forservice. I know for a fact that slots make money for businesses. Back to the food, the chef salad used to be heaping on theplate. Over time it has shrunk down to about 2 inches high with one or two pieces of ham and turkey chopped up on it. Mostlylettuce. On Sept 4th I took my husband there for his birthday. He had a filet mignon. It was 2x2 inches I kid you not. That wasthe last straw for us. They have successfully managed to be a big turn off by their attitudes and greed.
