Their Large Slice is a classic. I usually get just one topping because I'm frugal but every once in a while I throw everything... on there. The dough is really fluffy and perfect fresh out the oven. The pizza had a good flavor but the only thing about the pizza that I do need to ding them on is their crust. The crust was... over-kneaded & tough to chew on when I bought the pizza fresh. Would I buy pizza from them again? Maybe. Would I recommendAmbrose Pizzeria? Maybe. If they fix their crust & not over-knead the dough, then I would try their pizza again. 2 starts only because I've been here in the past for my lunch hour because it's a decent pizza for the money. Not good or bad... but definitely too much crust. Today I waited an hour for a pastrami sandwich because they forgot to start my order. Wassupposed to be dine in and ended up having to take it out. Then I got the sandwich and it was greasy , meat was cold, and worstof all they forgot the pickles. Ended up having a bite and tossing the sandwich, I love pastrami but this was the worst I'vehad. My coworkers pizza crust was hard and they both ended just eating the toppings. Mistakes happen, but staff didn't evenapologize or show any remorse. Cozy place like a pizza place should be. Good sauce! That's the base for the best itallian food. Prices are great for the value... of the food. The pizza dough makes a great crust. Plus they have some old school video games too. Read more
