Good ice cream, very well elaborated cones. It is too pricey, 13.50 for two cones. Still worth it

We always buy ice cream pies, cakes or pizzas for special occasions. Sometimes we just go on a hot evening. The location can... be a tad hard for parking when other businesses in the small complex are busy as well. Staff was fast and friendly. Read more

Family has been coming here literally every day for a few years. Everyone that works here is amazing! Love all of the girls... working there. The owner is so welcoming and crafts the most amazing cakes. We?ve already had 2 served in our home these lastfew weeks for various celebrations! They did a great job with adjusting to the new Covid-way of business: They?re very cleanand professional. Even though we are in a different part of town, whenever we have a hankering for BR (ice cream, Blasts, or acake) we drive all the way to La Mesa just to have them take care of us. This place is one of a few left in San Diego. It?s in beautiful La Mesa with a lot of college urban/hippie places to eat for... lunch. Parking can be a hassle depending on what time you go. The staff are always super nice and even offers free cup of waterfor customers. We are always greeted when we walk in. Read more
The two young women working at this location tonight (July 16) did this store and the BR brand a huge disservice by their... abhorrent treatment of customers waiting for service before the 10 pm closing time. My family was served just before 10 pm. Atthat time, there was an African-American family with young children and another single man waiting for service. They had been inthe store well before 10 pm. At the very moment the clock struck 10, the lead worker announced that the store was "now closed"and that no one else would be served. The family with children and the other man were forced to leave empty-handed. The workersdid not even apologize to them. They were so incredibly rude, and actually started laughing about it after everyone was out ofthe store. The owner of this location needs to take action to repair the damage being caused by these workers. Read more
