Have been going to Kelley's in Meadows Place/Stafford for years. Some of the most wonderful food cooked from scratch! Moved to... Galveston and was looking forward to going to the Kelley's in La Marque...then it caught fire on the roof and I had to waitmonths for repairs. Finally made it though! The food is ALWAYS fresh and delicious. No canned or frozen veggies, instantpotatoes, or packaged gravy! Specials every day with some everyday regulars such as chicken fried chicken and steak, liver andonions, etc. as well as their full menu. The rolls they serve are to die for. In spite of my diabetes, I treat myself to oneroll every visit. Wait staff are always smiling and attentive. Weekend mornings can have a bit of a line waiting, but it movesquickly and the reward is worth it!! (Edited to add photo) Read more

My party went here for lunch and we were pleasantly surprised by our experience. We were able to choose where we wanted to sit.... We each ordered a main meal and they came with 3 sides. What's unique is everyday they feature different side dishes andhighlight different meal options. There was definitely a lot of food and I was only able to eat half of my meal. Our waitresswas very friendly. I would recommend this location to anyone who is in the area. Read more
The guys ordered sandwiches and fries, but I ordered chicken fried steak from the Sat special menu. It included three sides,... roll and cornbread. I also had unsweetened tea. My green salad was falling out of the bowl onto the plate because it was solarge. I also had mashed potatoes and buttered corn. Needless to say, I brought home enough food for my daughter's dinnertoo! Our server was top-notch and very accommodating. This was our first visit as we live out of the area. The food is amazing and the portions huge! I had the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, fried okra, Cole slaw and 2 rolls for... a little over $15. I had water though, so add a couple bucks for tea or soda. It was very busy as it was lunch time, but thewaitress was fast and friendly. I got my food very quickly and it was hot and good.
