I spent about $19 for Grilled Cage Free Chicken at Urban Plates. The food was prepared quickly and was not as fresh or tasty as... other restaurants. It was the worst meal I have had this past year. My first thought after the cashier handed me my bag was, whyis it so light given how much I paid for it? At home, when I opened the bag, it had a questionable quantity of Chicken, horriblycooked Brussels sprouts, and a slice of garlic bread with a small patch of garlic smeared on one side. The fries on the sidewere good but less. The food was not cooked properly. It tasted like leftovers from the refrigerator that were thrown into anoven without any seasoning or spices added to them. After tasting Brussels sprouts, I realized that they must have been made forcows, not humans since they were so unappetizingly raw and unseasoned! Basically, I got what you could get from a fast-foodjoint for $5 less than this place charges?at least at McDonald's or Burger King, I can get something that doesn't make me wantto gag every time I look at it! Abundant menu items with a healthy flair. Meals were flavorful. You order and pay at the counter then find a table and they... being your food out. You can watch them prepare orders behind the counter. Tables and bathroom could have benefitted from somebetter cleaning but we went at a busy time. We will return.
