This place exceeded expectations from the decor and ambience, to the breakfast menu, to the pastry items. The owners obviously... put a lot of thought into every aspect of this establishment and it shows. I got an egg white scramble dish which includedheaping portions of scalloped potatos and homemade bread and jam. The bakery offers unique pastries which made me want to comeback so I could try other goods. There's a lot of glitter sprinkled IG-centered items for the younger crowd but that didn'tdetract from the actual tastiness of the food. Both indoor and outdoor seating available. Read more

Everything would be fine if it weren't for one huge but..... Friday’s morning, my friend and I stood in line in the rain to... chat, drink coffee and enjoy breakfast. Breakfast and latte were great. But glasses with water and plates with half-eaten foodsuddenly began to disappear from the table. We only managed to protect your coffee, which has almost been taken away!!!! Areceipt appeared immediately. We were in this place for 35 minutes, and stood in the rain for 15 minutes. The vegwich was delicious. It had a slight spicy taste and made it so amazing. The blue moon coffee was good. The portion sizes... are generous. The staff is very friendly and the presentation of food is top notch. Veggie options are limited in my opinion. Read more

Wow! What a place! I was super impressed with the staffs ability to manage a huge rush of customers. They are very... efficient! The maintenance and upkeep of this restaurant was clean, organized, and very pleasing to the eyes. Clean windows,clean walls, clean tables. It's amazing how often other restaurants forget about the basics, but this restaurant does not! Iordered the "Posh Pig" sandwich with the croissant. The scrambled egg, smashed avocado, pepper jack cheese, thick-cut bacon, andtomato Jelly worked so well together that I would say, I probably THE BEST breakfast sandwich I've had in my life. My wifeordered the "Emerald Isle" which consisted of 4 thick waffles, and because we went on Sunday, could be coupled with SouthernFried Chicken (chicken strips) with real chicken breasts. She also ordered the "Cupcake Latte" and this coffee drink was a bitoverboard! All kinds of sweets on it including whipped cream, Lucky Charms, sprikles...geez! Prior to leaving, we had a walkinside of the restaurant and looked at the bakery items. Plenty to choose from, but we settled on the Elderberry & WhiteChocolate pound cake. We ate it later at home and it was DELICIOUS!!! Overall, this place is THE place to go for breakfast, ifyou're in the area. The food here was amazing! I highly reccomend this place for anyone who enjoys a good breakfast and is willing to spend the... money, because it is not cheap. The bakery also seemed pretty good, but it seemed quite over priced for what you got in return(like 10$ for some marshmallows i believe?). The theme of the place was also very cozy, it was really well decorated and feltnice to see and be around. Lastly, the seating was very comfortable. Great little breakfast & lunch place. They have a coffee station as well as a bakery shop inside with a nice patio dining... area. We had the house eggs Benedict and the naughty skillet. They both were very tasty. Coffee was good and strong. Alec, ourserver, did a great job answering questions and stayed on top of things. It was a good experience. Give them a try. Read more

Wow. Excellent food, service, and value. Generous sandwiches with good helping of salad. Service was quick and very friendly.... Heaters kept us warm. BLAT + Egg was server on some fantastic sourdough. Breakfast sandwich with prosciutto was the biggestcroissant I've ever had. We'll be back! Read more

When two out of state friends visited, they both ended up at Sugar and Scribe. One was recommended the place from someone else.... And the other I had recommended. And the reason is thus: great outdoor patio space for COVID friendly dining. And a bakery toogle at while you wait, or to indulge in if the line to get seated takes a while, and it can. The times I have been have beenoff peak hours (namely 8-9 am on week days). No line, and quick service. The plates here are creative and the food fresh.
