Fantastic restaurant that's extremely delicious! We were out walking around the beach and got a bit hungry so headed up the hill... a couple blocks and found this place. We love outdoor dining and saw they had tables outside. One thing led to another and thenwe were stuffing great food into our faces. The menu has many options but we opted for an appetizer which was The Gilroy garliccheese curds and they were very tasty. If you've ever had the cheese curds from the cheesecake factory, think that but better!Also the photo showing the cheese curds is missing quite a few cheese curds because I forgot to take a picture before we startedeating them. We were both out walking around and so we opted for salads. I got the surf salad with ahi and it was mighty tasty.I got the wasabi vinaigrette dressing and it had a small kick to it but nothing too spicy and it complimented the flavors of theAhi and the grilled veggies that are mixed within the salad. My fiancee went with the Cobb salad with the cilantro limevinaigrette dressing and that was also delicious. She got chicken in hers and the chicken was cooked perfectly. We will beheading back there again so I will update with what other goodies we try when we actually dig into their plates and such. Theydo have other things such as fish tacos, wings, ceviche, burgers, pasta and more. It wasn't that busy for a early SeptemberSaturday and there was open tables around 1: 00pm. Although people did start coming in right after us. I was also surprisedwith the cost as it was not that expensive for the two salads and appetizer with a soda and a tea. Definitely a new favoritethat we will back too. Update #1: tried the buffalo chicken sandwich with cheddar cheese and regular fries. A+++ / also triedclub sandwich with steak fries, also A+++. Have been here twice within a weeks time. The first time we met around 20 people here for a big office gathering after five. ... The group ordered tons of different drinks and some food items. Nachos, fish tacos, fish and chips. We ordered fish and chipsand they were so good. Great tasting fish and the batter wasn’t too heavy and had great flavor. So, we came back thefollowing Friday for lunch and had more fish and chips. You’ve got to try them! So good! Read more

Great Cadillac, always known as this place as the "naughty" from co workers and friends. Great spot and drinks, bartenders were... kind and quick. Will definitely come back! Read more
First timer at Nautilus!! Delicious food and the drinks were killer!! My waitress was super cool, she had the best... recommendations and honestly made our night! I stopped in here to kill some time near the beach. The staff was super welcoming and very friendly. All I got were a couple of... waters and some tots (which were delicious) but the waitress still seemed happy to have me there. I did a crossword whileenjoying the beautiful weather and listened to the Rufus du Sol Pandora playlist they were playing. Overall a really greatexperience! Whether you're looking to get some drinks or just hang out for a bit (or both) near Windansea, I recommend thisspot! Read more
This place is so fire. Second time coming here in the last 2 days and literally is obsessed with the quality of food that we've... been receiving. I like to judge a place based on the food freshness and, of course, their garlic aioli. To put this place inperspective, the garlic aioli at Nautilus Tavern is TOP mf NOTCH. Needed somewhere to go for our first night in La Jolla and our hotel recommended this place. So glad we went, waitress was... lovely, despite being obviously very short staffed (and very apologetic!) we were never left waiting long! Food was deliciousand plenty big enough!
