Service was good. They were accommodating to dairy allergy, but the food portions weren?t as good as I had expected. $22.50 for... a small row of lobster and a piece of bread is a high price to pay for a lobster roll classic. After eating, we ended up goingto Dukes across the street for a proper meal. Read more

Honestly, extremely mediocre. We got the Boss Lobster Roll (which comes with 50% more lobster meat) and the flight of soups.... Every soup was off to me: the clam chowder had a porridge like consistency, the lobster bisque was oddly sweet, and the last onewas too salty. The lobster roll was bland. Plus, the quality of the lobster was poorer than I expected, parts of it were rubberyand clearly frozen and thawed. The best part was the bread. I wouldn't come back and wouldn't recommend it. Really delicious Lobster Rolls! Super fresh lobster, toasted bun- super simple and tasty. I didn?t care for the coleslaw... personally but it wasn?t bad. The beans were great! I will definitely be returning for another lobster roll and also to try someof their other dishes. I definitely recommend stopping by! Read more

I love lobster with butter on a toasted roll. We were walking in La Jolla and saw the restaurant?s sandwich board on the... corner. about a block from the restaurant. The pandemic curtailed our trips to the Lobster Truck (The person who took our ordertold me he was from Connecticut and he hadn?t heard of that may have been joking I just wanted my roll) I ordered the extralobster meat and a blueberry soda. Hubby ordered the lobster grilled cheese . The service was quick. You walk up to thecounter order, take your table number and go find a table outside. We will go back! Read more

Absolute must lunch stop! Mouthwatering lobster rolls filled with perfectly seasoned lobster, not too much mayo on a buttery &... crispy roll. The ?boss? gets you more lobster. Junior crab roll was good too but can?t beat the lobster. Sit outside on theadorable patio facing Prospect street, perfect for people watching and enjoying the ocean breeze. If you?re looking for acasual, locally owned restaurant with amazing food, run to Lobster West! Read more

Food was great and service was also awesome! I love supporting local businesses and so glad we found this place. We wanted to... try just about everything so we got the Maine Event - Connecticut style (I think), which was one shrimp, one crab and onelobster roll and also got the lobster bisque, which I absolutely loved! If we are in the area again in the future, we willdefinitely come back! Read more
