My husband and I went here because it looked delicious and we love macaroons. We are picky about them. We ordered a box of 6.... Upon eating them, the flavors were off and didn't taste fresh. The raspberry didn?t taste like raspberry and the salted carameltasted like butter. The others are not worth talking about. We also ordered the dark chocolate raspberry truffles. They werebeautiful to look at it, but the flavor was also lacking. The chocolate tastesd like low quality and the raspberry flavor tastedartificial. The staff was super kind and had great service. This page is small but cute! After walking around the cove we walked by this place and decided to go in! The deserts were all so... interesting and they had good macaron flavors to choose from. I believe we got birthday cake, peaches, rose, pistachio, lemonand chocolate. They we baked perfectly! My only complaint is that they?re too small and go so fast ???? we also got three ??those were simple but good also, and their packaging is so cute! Everything was handled so delicately! First tried Le Macaron at an event in Los Angeles a few years ago. I was thrilled to find out that the owner was opening this... location up a few blocks away from me. I have loved supporting their phenomenal business during the pandemic through UberEatsand I will happily continue to do so! While their macarons are definitely the star of the show, don?t pass up their othergoodies. Everything they make is absolutely delicious! Be sure to pay them a visit if you?re in the area. Read more

Eye candy. Walking through La Jolla we saw this place and had to try it out. Very clean, and the lady behind the counter was... super nice and helpful when it came to giving us suggestions and info about the treats. We love finding those little expensivetreats that just blow your taste buds away, but this just wasn't it. We ordered a 6 pack of macaroons and a berry cheesecake.Everything was tasty with a few flavors being less than impressive, but overall it didn't blow us away like we had expected.Maybe we walked in with higher expectations due to how clean and pretty everything looked, but we thought the taste didn't quitelive up to the presentation. Le Macaron looked good but was closed So we went next door to El Avocado. Great vegetarian and vegan foods. Also ice cream,... beer($2 beer happy hour!) and the like with music and good times. And a magnificent ocean view...ya gotta go! Read more
