I love this small shop! Food and customer service are amazing. Sometimes you just need to be patient because food takes longer... then you eat in 5 mnts lol because is so yummy???? Parking can be hazel sometimes in Downtown La Jolla but you can parksurrender just make sure don't go over the time because during the week days I believe parking is just 2 hours not sure, alwaysread the sign. This isn't really a coffee shop as the name may indicate, but it's a pretty good restaurant for breakfast in La Jolla. It's been... around for a long time and our server Sal was great! The coffee is okay and they don't really have a traditional All-Americanbreakfast, but you can add eggs and bacon to your pancake or french toast order. Seating outside is nice and there's a steadystream of customers which is a good indication. Read more

I will start off by saying that I am a... very picky person, I am a planner, a worrier, a perfectionist (you get where I am going) - so with that said... I am hard toplease, LOL! However, Coffee Cup Cafe far exceeded any expectations I had! It was my birthday weekend (a long bday weekend) andwe went down to La Jolla early on a Monday morning with 2 main focuses... The beach and to eat! We found parking right in frontand walked inside and were greeted with a big smile and a welcoming vibe! We chose to eat outside and it was just perfect! Wegot this quaint, local vibe and I loved it! Also, sitting outside you can day dream over the beautiful buildings and theirarchitecture, people watch etc! This place was awesome! Service was tip top; host got us seated right away and introduced our server by name. Got our drinks out... right away, let us know what the off menu options were, gave us spot on recommendations when we asked, and food came outquickly.
