Place was pretty small but cool looking inside. Chefs were pretty cool and polite. Got the bento box and rainbow rolls.

It was amazing :D I had the sushi-roll combo and the sushi was great. The rolls were just california rolls, but even those were... good. Most places just throw their California rolls together, but here, they were actually put together and pleasant to eat. Stopped by here after seeing all the great reviews and the food did not disappoint. I've been to many sushi places on the west... coast and can say with confidence that Hamachi Sushi Express has made the best rolls I've had so far. The sushi rolls arewrapped perfectly, with just the right amount of rice (a beautiful thin layer,) and plenty of delicious filling on the inside.We ordered the Dragon, Lion King, and Caliente, rolls and all of them were perfect. The rolls (lion king, dragon, and caliente) we got here were all really good. We ordered the specialty mix where you can choose... any 3 rolls, excluding the hungry roll, for $34.95 which was really worth. The rice to filling ratio in these rolls wasperfect, not too much rice. Everything was fresh. Even though this spot is primarily to-go, the rolls here are better than mostof the sushi restaurants I?ve been to. The owner was friendly and the rolls aren't over priced like other places. If anything,these are some of the best rolls given the quality and price! They also give free miso soup.
