Reviews for Las Fuentes in La Grange, TX
The resaurant seems to be a local hot spot for Mexican food. The parking lot was full with parking up front for to go orders.... It's always nice to walk into a restaurant and be greeted by a friendly face. Except we were greeted by a not so welcominghostess. She didn't smile or look like she wanted to be there. Regardless, we were lead to seating that was up against anothertable seated with people that were going to pin us up right up against each other. We declined the seating and asked for anothertable. We were moved but with some reluctance, as if this would cause a big disruption to their seating arrangement. I orderedbeef ribs, which were a bit over cooked but the rice and beans were flavorful. The flour tortillas were homemade. Our waiter waspleasant and did cater to our requests. The price for our individual meals were a bit pricey but they are generous in theportions. I would try this place again just to see if a different plate selection could change my mind about the rating on thisfirst time visit. Read more

Definitely would not recommend to anyone with standards or wants real Mexican food. I cook so my opinion will be a little... harsher. Customer service was nice, I ordered chicken with rice veggies and a quasadia take out. Absolutely smuthered in frozencarrots, broccoli, and cauliflower. 0 rice found at least it came with tortillas. I didn't realize vegetables meant sh*tgrocery frozen grocery store veggies. I just wouldn't have gotten vegetables then. For some reason even the quasadia had morefrozen carrots in them which is confusing. Very confusing and the chicken was sub par. Pricey too and the menu was so outdatedwith large photos consisting of a mexican hamburger and chicken wings. I was hungry so I ate it but I wouldn't go there againand I wouldn't recommend it to anyone except those who like sub par Mexican American food. Read more

My wife and I came here on a Saturday for lunch. There is adequate parking around the rear which is where you will find the main... entrance... We enjoyed a taco salad and a combination plate of taco and enchilada. Free chips and salsa including warm queso areprovided! Very nice and very tasty! My taco salad was good, as well as my wife's combo meal. Prices are reasonable, our food andtwo soft drinks totaled out at just below $30 before tip. It is an extensive facility with lots of seating and a full barprovided for those inclined, as well as dining out doors on the front porch patio. If you happen to be in LaGrange and seek someMexican Cuisine, this is a good spot to try. Also, curbside pickup is available. Read more
Service and location are great and always clean. Ordered traditional lunch plate that came with beef fajitas and beef enchilada,... rice and beans. Fajitas were good. The cheese used on the enchilada is something that is not tasty (Velveta tasting). Theyshould consider using a better tasting cheese like Longhorn Cheddar. The flour tortillas were way undercooked. The chips, salsaand queso were satisfactory. Read more
