This place doesn't look like much but the food is delicious and the staff were great. I like to seek out these little places as... the food is usually the best! I ordered a fish sandwich plate with greens and Mac n cheese! Those greens were absolutelyfantastic. Fish portion was enough for two sandwiches. Sandwich wasn't dressed but I didn't ask for it but I will next time. Ialso ordered the fried mushrooms and they were the best I've had in years. Absolutely wonderful place . Every time I pass thru here it's a must have. However on this particular day we made a special... trip. It's a little over an hour each way from my house and so so worth it. And if you're a big red (the beverage) fan such asmyself, they have the absolute best!even better than White Castle. Unfortunately on this day they only had one cup. I'm guessingthe syrup bag was empty and they didn't feel like changing it. Just a guess tho. Very unique place and worth checking out but there are also downsides to consider. Definitely some amazing BBQ and very... friendly staff. I would flat out give it five stars until after I was done eating and went in to the bathroom which was verydirty; the restaurant inside and out has MANY flies. Building is run down/old. Anyway I still went for it due to redeemingqualities of service, Vale and taste. I Had the pulled pork with the traditional sauce, hand cut fries, and greens. Fries werethick and baked (just like my mom would make). My friend got the wings with mild-zest sauce and the BBQ ribs with the sweetbourbon sauce. Pork was super tender and rib meet so tender they fell off the bone. They smoke everything out back. I wasstuffed for $5.50 and I didn't get "dad-bod" from eating small..
