I?ve been coming here for about 15 years and I?ve never had a bad experience. The chicken caesar wraps are great but so is... everything else. A cool neighborhood vibe, close to the train station, not too pricey and not going to make you feel bloatedafterwards like everywhere else. I love Now Serving! Read more
So, I post this with the disclaimer that I?ll be going back soon for another crack at this one. We were first in the door and... we were pleasantly greeted by what I assume was the owner/manager, I?m not sure. She was very pleasant but the fact that shewas 5 minutes late and the then had to wait another 10 minutes for coffee was a bit odd. Especially since this was at 9am and6am. Everything I tried was freshly made and tasted good. Their salsa for the chicken quesadilla was pretty tasty, and their burgers... looked good, too. Comfortable atmosphere with couches and chairs in addition to regular tables. Big and open space with goodcoffee, too. Read more
We love everything about Now Serving. As individual customers, we have only been in for their breakfast (which is reasonably... priced and tasty). We have also rented out their cafe on two occasions and had a great experience both times. The staff isattentive, flexible, and kind. The dining area is well decorated and cozy. I have lived in Western Springs/La Grange now for 10 years. I am kicking myself for only stopping at this little gem yesterday.... What an amazing place. I feel like I have wasted ten years of potential flavor! Now I must play catch-up! The menu is packed!They have twice as many items as places 3 times their size! Ohhhh and the flavors! I had three things... yes...three, I like toeat. I had the Island Pork Sandwich. The 3 Cheese Mac and a bowl of Split Pea Soup... all homemade! The Split Pea will actuallygo down as the BEST I have ever had - The Island Pork - slow roasted to the point where it just fell apart with every bite -this was pure perfection While eating the owner stopped by and simply gave us a cookie!
