Amazing staff! Very friendly, and warm team here. Great outdoor seating; multiple tiers of outdoor sections. Solid menu, and... choices. Food was tasty, and fresh. We got the BLAT with garlic fries, and huevos rancheros. Also a chi latte tea (it was of thesweeter variety). Plenty of street parking on foothill and north of foothill. There is a small parking lot (4-6 spots) but it isusually full, and pretty tight. Great neighborhood spot, highly recommend. Read more
This delightful cafe sits on top of the hill in La Crescenta, just above CVHS. The fare is delicious and the service delightful.... I find it a true testament to the quality of food, service, and care of the owner when the employee turnover is low and regularsare well established. Come for a great meal and good times. (Indoor and outdoor seating available) Ordered: Jane's Breakfast,Orange French Toast, and Pastrami Sandwich w/ garlic sweet potato fries. Veggie omelette was one of the best I've had (excellent veggie to egg ratio). Good potatoes that tasted fresh and not loaded... with salt. The mint lemonade was refreshing and not very sweet - tasted legit but may not be for those wanting a really sweet,basic lemonade. Walk up to order and outdoor seating available. Limited parking. It's been over 7 years since last time eating at Tickle Tree... Although the prices have slightly increased, the food quality... superb and portion size is perfect. I'm happy to see their still in business during these worldwide pandemic times. I will beback on a regular basis. Read more
Great selection to choose from; anywhere from breakfast to drinks! Burger was very tasty. Garlic fries were crispy and thinner... than usually fries. (A bit too much fresh garlic for me) I added an egg on top of my burger. Read more
This one pains me - because we love Tickle Tree. Recommend it all the time and bring clients here. That said - they didn't have... what we placed in our original order on the phone (after we hung up - they called back) and we proceeded to change our order tosecond choices (from Pastrami - excellent - to the Portobello Sandwich and the Steak Sandwich). To say the Steak Sandwich is badis an understatement. Smelled fishy (nonbueno) but just was a tough terrible piece of meat sandwiched between two slices ofbread with a dash of chimmichurri. Maybe this was just a bad day, but then, calling to order a second sandwich (I would havepaid something) but to be informed I'll have to pay full price was a little kick in the gut. 100% first-world-problems BUT forsomeone who frequents here on and $83 tab to not get even a little help on a replacement sandwich just feels like a shame.Probably not coming back for a while which is a bummer but ce la vie.
