Stopped in on our way through town for lunch, COVID friendly. Amazing food and nice outdoor seating. We ate a Carolina sandwich... , pulled pork sandwich, and ribs. We had the German potato salad, creamed corn, fritters, and scalloped potatoes. All wasequally delicious. Read more
I had the Bird's Nest sandwich. It's brisket with Lockhart sausage. It was really good, and then I tried the sauce with it, and... boy did the food pop even more. I also recommend a hidden favorite the creamed corn. That in itself is an experience. Definitelyget the creamed corn as a side. You will not be disappointed. Read more
Most barbecue places disappoint me with overpriced dry meat. This place did not. The scalloped potatoes were the best I?ve ever... had, and the pulled pork sandwich had tender meat. I was pleasantly surprised that it had no disgusting coleslaw on it. Theyoung woman at the register with the immaculate eyeliner was very energetic and nice. Unfortunately a man came in with a Trump2020 shirt which really ruined the mood by making me feel unsafe, but that?s not the fault of the establishment. Honestly have never had better BBQ in my life. The sausage had a ton of flavor, the brisket was super tender, and the meat was... falling off the ribs. I ate so much I almost threw up but still wanted to keep eating haha. No BBQ sauce needed either! Can'twait to visit again! Read more
