It's not often I negatively review a place, let alone write about it, but the actions taken by this Applebee's are an... inexcusable offense and health violation. We ordered 3 chicken ranch sandwiches to-go on Friday, and they ALL turned out to beRAW. These sandwiches seemed cooked and fried on the outside, we even bit into them and ate some of it, but in the middle thesandwiches were clearly smooth, pink, raw. I was enjoying it until I bit into raw meat, realized what i saw inside the sandwich,and spit it out. We took it back for a refund and to report the problem to staff, they wanted to take our receipt despite havinga copy themselves, we did not let them. They agreed to a refund, back to the card charged, but after waiting 4 days they did NOTcancel the order, and proceeded to charge us for the food! Absolutely inexcusable. Will not return to this location in theforeseeable future, and to those still giving these guys a shot, make sure your food is thoroughly cooked, especially if youtake it to-go or have it delivered. We came in a little before 10 on a Thursday, and we were seated quickly. Our drinks and food came soon after ordering, and our... waiter Jabari was *phenomenal*. We haven't experienced such a genuinely happy, helpful server like him in a long time. The foodwas all wonderful as well and the cocktails were great. I mostly want to highlight the outstanding service, as it really didtake a crummy day for us and turn it around. It was a wonderful night, and we will definitely be back soon. Read more
This was the best experience we have had in a good while at a restaurant. Delaney our waitress was very attentive and nice. She... was able to get our orders right and when she didn't know the answer she got it. We never felt forgotten or over checked on. By far, we had the absolute worst experience there tonight. I am going to reserve my total bad review for when I contact someone... tomorrow. A quick summary we had a very new employee waiting on us. We were there for 2 hours and 2 of us left hungry. Theyliterally forgot to put our child's dinner order in, they cooked 3 steaks for our table. 2 medium, 1 med. Rare. We got 1 rarerare, 1 beef jerky, 1 med well. They wanted me to sit longer so they could re make it. I refused and said I didn't wantanything. I had to leave. So we get our check and she only comped my drink. Oh no. I didn't eat I want it off my bill and wegave her our card so she would have it cause we had to go. 20 min later I had to ask for her again. It was pretty good! The restaurant was empty the time we went, so that was nice. We ordered the beer cheese and pretzels, and... loaded waffle fries. We asked no bacon on the waffle fries an upon arrival they had bacon. However, they were kind enough tomake us a new batch without. Read more
The food was great, the service was the worst I have gotten, it took an hour to get seated because ?they can?t move tables? they... only have one table specifically for 8 people or more. I ordered a margarita as my drink, it took 45min for me to cancel it,because I was already done with my food. I would understand if the restaurant was at least 50% but it wasn?t. I counted threetables and about 5 people at the bar, the only response I got when I canceled my drink was ?we?re really backed up?..? Well I normally love Applebees but I tried to eat it! But my fries were cold and hard crunchy and my burger was cold and just... did not looked cooked and my spouse said the chicken strips were about the same and nothing was hot and about the only thing wasgood and was hot was the appetizer.
