I had a good experience! Meat was fresh, guacamole was fresh & REAL! It is $2.49 taco Tuesday and since this is my 1st time... here, I was thinking street tacos and always eat two. But these are twice the siz! The picture shows my take home after eatingand i'm full! So, for $9.07 I know I'll be back! Hortchaca wasn't great, but I ever get it anyway! Read more

Every time I come to this specific Cafe Rio, I am disappointed. The queso is usually so thick it breaks the chip, or has solid... white chunks because of improver prep, I have stopped ordering it. There?s too much inconsistency with your food, it?sunflattering. One time, I went through the drive thru and I watched a teen talk to a coworker about some boy, at some party, while the drive thru window was open. While me food hadn?t been started? minutes later, She started to prep my plate, stoppedand texted with her gloves on, then continued to make my food. Used the same gloves to go get my chips. Luckily I had stalechips at home. The last time I went, my order wasn?t right, at least that?s consistent. And today, the drive thru? three carsahead of me (16 minutes later) and after I confirmed my order, I came home to open my meal to a another wrong order. There wasabout 2 tbs of cheese on my nachos, no queso and tough meat. The guac was iffy too. I understand recruiting new employees hasbeen difficult after COVID, but that shouldn?t mean sacrificing efficient training with the employees you have. I believe thereare many bottlenecks within this franchise that could be addressed. I want to support your business, because the other locationsare tasty. As a customer since you opened, I?m sad to say you?re not meeting your potential. Read more

I wish I could give a better review because I know Cafe Rio has the potential to have great food. Tonight I walked in and my to... go order was late- I understand if it's busy but there was only myself, 5 employees, and someone at the register making a mixeddrink? With a Co2 cartridge, vanilla, said other stuff. It was bizarre but wouldn't have been a problem if I got my order withdecent food. I was picking it up for a group and had to get other food to serve them. I looked through my order to make sureeverything was there (last time it wasn't) only to find that the tortillas were tiny, hard and burnt, the cheese was invisibleand there was less than a tablespoon of meat in the tacos. The taco was so stiff I could hold it like a frisbee. I walked up towhere the employees were watching the man make something in a metal canister and explained the problem. I was told that they sawnothing wrong with it that the tacos were "overcooked" but not "bad" and that because it was late they'd run out of stuff. I hadalready paid through the app so I couldn't even leave the food there and get a refund. It is a joke. Read more

I love cafe Rio and I am constantly trying it over and over again and I keep getting very disappointed. Usually my rice is so... undercooked it almost cracks my teeth so today I just surpassed rice and got a handful of tacos for my family and the tinyamount of meat is a joke! Literally the smallest portion on my tacos ever not just on one but all of them looked like this. Thanks for the maybe tablespoon of meat guys. Time for another long break from them. Read more
