Atmosphere was great. Has a good sized dining/bar area when entering. Large room in back has a bar, dining space and six dart... machines. Jalapeno poppers where great as was the catfish sandwich, chilli cheese fries and breaded shrimp basket. Ellery, ourserver, was excellent. Very informative for our first visit. Had been looking for a place to play darts and found it. Highlyrecommend. Read more
Fun experience. The food was very good, prices were reasonable, and the waitstaff was excellent. I can definitely recommend the... catfish! There was stuff going on all over the place, games and trivia around the bar area and live music in the outdoor seatingarea. Although the bar area was a little too noisy for me (hearing issues). I?m sure the libations are fine but we were here to try the food. Our server was fantastic, great personality and she worked... really hard to get us our food. I tipped her well.\n\nThe food, on the other hand was mediocre based on my limited sample. There may be some gems lurking on the menu, but based on the burger I had, I would be skeptical. The patty was over cooked, dryand tasteless so I?m glad I only went with one instead of two. The chili on top tasted like it came out of a can, and a cheaperone at that. Finally the cheese sauce was meh and a bit stingy and too runny so you had to use a utensil to get any. Althoughthe prices were reasonable, I?d rather pay a little more for higher quality. A friend had the tacos and found the pulled porkto be dry. Still a limited sample but not good.\n\nI need to try some of the fried items, but at this point I am underwhelmed. So far they don?t seem to be close to as good as Wings, Etc., the bistro they replaced. I?ll give it one more try sometime butI?m not optimistic based on this sampling. Read more
My husband and I were here last night for the first time. We live over by Upland and had a rare night away from our business.... Really enjoyed it! Atmosphere was spot on! Let?s start with the atmosphere. Warm and welcoming with all the charm of the old building it?s nestled in. There is a large... room in the back with dart boards and an area big enough for a band. We went out first time on a Wednesday, the last Wednesdayof the month. On this day each month they have open mic for music, comedy or whatever! The food was incredible! Salads were hugewith every topping you could think of. Burgers are the best around period! These burgers are what Walburg?s wish they were! Ihad the Coleslaw Burger and it?s the best burger I?ve ever had hands down. The fries were good and the drinks were great! Thestaff is very friendly and hard working! Had the JALEPEÑO CRUNCH BURGER and the CATFISH CURLS . Food was amazing and staff was excellent. Staff made the place seem very... inviting. The bar itself reminded me of a few back in northern va. I will definitely coming back for food and drinks. Read more
Went there last night for an early Valentine\'s Day dinner cuz that\'s how we roll. We sat at the bar since it was the only... seating available. Had a great experience! The food was delicious and well priced for the portions. Drinks were also good andpriced very well. My husband tried out the pickle beer on tap... definitely a different drink and not my thing but the hubbyliked it. Service was a little slow but understandable. Great food! The food was served quickly and still warm. We went on a Friday night and it wasn\'t too busy. The waiter was really... friendly and we were impressed with how tasty everything on the menu sounded. We will have to go back multiple times to be ableto try everything!
