Great service. Amazing food. Probably one of the best restaurants in my opinion in the Midwest. We travel from Minnesota to... visit the spa and the Immigrant as a special experience twice a year. Highly recommend them. Love love all the courses. Read more

The wine and sommelier were incredible. Honestly though every other aspect of our experience had us scratching our heads as to... why people rave about this place so much. Maybe we got them on an off night? Read more

Ate there a month ago with a party of 15. Service, ambiance and food was terrible. Have been there in past and it was much... better, but it has been a while. Everyone complained. For the price, we would expect much better. At WI room the breakfastwas about the same. Food and service, both bad. Beer at Horse and Plow was good. Read more

I give it 5 stars based on our experience. First the team/staff/servers were amazing. We have three ladies serving us and we do... not have to wait for our food long to arrive. The drink I had Old Wisconsin Old Fashion was the bomb. My wife had the 5 coursedinner and I had the lamb chops. Food was exceptionally good! Happy tummy. The price was actually not bad at all. The Immigrant Restaurant was a great, special dinner for us. Definitely on the pricey side and formal wear was required. The... food was exceptional though, definitely the best of our honeymoon trip, and nice for our last night staying at The AmericanClub!! We had some great drinks, especially the Tommy Boy and the Old Faithful Old Fashioned. They started us with a smallspoon with some cheese, fig, and pistachio as well as a variety of bread with mustard butter (just a hint of mustard flavor fromthe mustard seeds). For dinner, my wife had the Halibut with Lobster gnocchi and I had the Wellington. Their take on theWellington was unique and fantastic! Just a small piece of the puff pastry, not wrapped fully, laying against the perfectlycooked beef. The freshly shaved black truffle, trumpet mushrooms, and purple potatoes were perfect compliments to each bite ofthe beef. Overall, this was a great experience and a nice, fancy night out for me and my wife. We really enjoyed ourselves andthe food was amazing. Read more

Fine dining in an elegant setting. An innovative menu that always has interesting wine pairings available. It is pricey, but... the quality and service are top notch. Very good wine list. The immigrant room is in the American club resort, a premiereresort that takes a back seat to none. While the pairings of wine and food are good, they could be better. I prefer thepairings at Sanford's in milwaukee, which seem more inspired and surprising. Read more

My wife and I spent our honeymoon at The Carriage House and on our second evening enjoyed the five-course dinner at Immigrant... Room- we both agreed it was the best meal we've ever had- together or apart! Mary Jo was our waitress and she was such a doll. She took care of us all night, from pairing our exact taste in wine to the meal we were about to enjoy, to checking-in on usregularly to make sure everything was tasting okay. It was such an intimate experience, tucked into the basement of The AmericanClub. The menu was incredibly varied and each dish tasted so very unique- we loved every bite! While the dishes change on aregular basis, depending on what's in season, we would highly recommend the seared scallops, the lobster bisque, the 30-day agedtenderloin, and the quail eggs and pork belly. If you can, request to have Mary Jo as your waitress- she'll take great care ofyou. Read more

The only truly 5 star restaurant in WI. Unbelievable food and service! Suit and tie required. Servers are helpful, formal, but... never "stuffy" unlike other 5 stars. Huge wine and liquid offerings... wine guy comes to table and helps with selection.Wonderful "feel". Expensive, but worth every penny! Never too crowded. Go for that special occasion and enjoy every minute! Read more
