Main entree of fish is good, but rice and potato side are cold two nights in a row. Wait staff are friendly, but you have to... ask for condiments and water refills. One staff waits on entire restaurant. Read more
This is a convenient location if you are staying at the hotel, and don't want to walk to another restaurant. The menu is big,... although not many smaller portions except for the basic kids' options. The ribeye steak is nice, the pasta dishes are good-although there is a lot of pasta compared to the additions. The fish and chips is not good in my opinion. It is mushy, thebreading is wet on the inside as if it is uncooked, yet the outside is browned. The veggie options was small chucked carrots andpeas- obviously from a frozen or canned mix. The French Onion soup is nothing more than beef broth with a few onion. No cheese,no bread. The salmon and halibut choices are good. Personally, I expected more from a place near the marina. I understand howfresh things can be difficult during someone the year, but for the meal prices- there should be better quality served. Read more
The fish and chips were disappointing. My son said they were normally very tasty. The menu has grilled Cesar salad but the... waitress said they have never offered it despite being on the menu. The crab dip appetizer was scrumptious as well as theseafood pasta. The wait staff are very friendly and the ambiance was charming with nostalgic picture lining the walls. Read more
Full honesty here. Burgers and brews, fun event and not a bad burger at all for a basic one. French fries accompanying were... very tasty. Atmosphere is good as it is immediately understood why it's called the Chart Room, and staff was polite andcourteous and our drinks were kept full without ask. Now the negative. One of our party steered from the burger and opted for aShrimp Scampi, sauted shrimp over a bed of fettuccine with cream sauce. The shrimp was good, the pasta and sauce on the otherhand were the most flavor absent dish I could imagine. All five in our party tasted and all five declined to support adoptingthe dish as take home leftovers. When I mentioned the lackluster dish to the waitress her response was "ya, I'm not really a fanof the pasta dishes here either". All in all, good environment, generally good and polite staff, and potential to be afantastic experience. However, not all dishes are created equal, as their polite staff will admit. Read more

Like others have said, service is sort of spotty, the waitstaff are pleasant but not real attentive, but then it is Kodiak so... you need to manage your expectations, I did not review this the first few times because I wanted to get a feel for the day ofthe week and season. Crowds do pick up after May and things get tight at the bar and getting seated. I do not know why there areno fresh fish offerings or catch of the day but that seems to be the way things are in the Aleutians. Seared halibut is adollar less than prime rib go figure. The decor is pleasing, the tables by the windows have good views of the harbor, there isan elevator for handicap access, and the bar has an adequate selection of beer and liquor. Expect to pay Aleutian prices but thesalad was fresh and dressing tasty. Read more
I must say our server was new, but only appeared to have our table and ringing tabs. SUPER SLOW service. Had to bus my own... table. Order wrong. Food only ok...expected a whole lot more. Not going back on my nickle.. Read more
