I got the Volunteer Poke bowl and it was amazing. I was a little nervous about getting raw salmon because I had only tried it... once before but it exceeded my expectations! The salmon had a great texture and really good flavor, not fishy at all whatsoever.The portion of food was big too and very filling. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. I can't wait to go back! Lucked up on Tomo and was not disappointed. After a browse of the menu, pop up to the cashier to order. The poke bowls have... heaps of options. We opted for the tuna and sweet tofu...delicious. Also order the tofu hibachi. Man the sauce is so good. Willbe back next time I am in Knoxville. Almost forgot to mention vegetarian and vegan options available. Read more

Tonight was the first time my husband and I tried this little gem tucked away in a shopping center just past West Town Mall. The... super nice gentleman who took our order was so patient! I chose a build-your-own poke bowl and he went out of his way tocustomize it for me, even substituting chicken for tuna. My husband had the Tempura Ramen and usually sneezes after eatingvoutbecsuse of the presevatives in the food. He did not sneeze once!!! The food was AMAZING. I asked for a to-go box for myleftovers and I told the gentleman who had helped us my food was amazing and I hope I can remember the options I requested nexttime on my bowl so I could get it the same way, and he said, not to worry, he would help! A friend and I dined here April 12, 2022. Tomo had only been reopened for two days and was up and running with spectacular... choices in cuisine, had a well stocked bar and excellent customer service. So they need to change their offerings on Yelp because it still says sushi. When we went last night they no longer have sushi... and only have hibachi, ramen and poke. We stayed because we had a Groupon to use otherwise we probably would have gonesomewhere else because we actually wanted sushi. My husband and I got the shrimp hibachi which was good. My girls split atempura ramen. Also pretty good. Overall the food was fine and I would give them a 3.5 out of 5 because it was not what weexpected and thus I rounded it up to 4. Basically even if you eat there it’s like take out. They bring your food and you doall the clean up and put your dishes up and everything. I am guessing corona has made them change their business model so theycan have as few workers as possible and have easier dishes to make. We probably won’t be back if they no longer have sushi. Hopefully they will bring it back. Until then, they should update their main offerings on their online presence. Read more
Kinda pricey. I got the spicy tuna poke bowl with seaweed salad as one of my additives...the seaweed salad was extremely fishy... tasting/smelling, I couldn't eat it. Otherwise, the poke bowl was good. My kid got the pork ramen bowl. She liked it. The guyrunning the cash register was very helpful with the menu. Read more
