There must be better options in the area. I was passing through and decided to give this a shot based on the somewhat positive... reviews. The menu is really focused on steak which is not surprising given the name of the restaurant. I had a shrimp cocktailand it was decent... Not above average but at least no issues with it. I also had a Caesar salad and it was very much belowaverage. I ordered filet mignon hoping that they would do steak well, but it was the worst I've had in many years. The tablenext to me also ordered a fillet and called the manager out to tell them how bad it was and ordered a salad instead. Theservice was very good. The food was just such bad quality that I would suggest you search for another place if you wereconsidering the Chop House for dinner. Read more

Our server was fantastic, his name was Justin and his trainee was Jackson!???? We noticed the Chop House when we stopped at the... Pet Supply. We decided to give it a go, and, it was pretty decent! It was better than average, but not elite. The ambiance wasdecent, my beef brisket Philly was very tasty, my wife had a caesar salad and grilled shrimp, our appetizer was calamari. Thesuperfruit cocktail was good, the Bahama sunrise wasn't the best, but drinkable! One other thing, the bathrooms werespotless, Obviously you can see the kitchen and that also was spotless. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. We did have to wait before we got seated, but once we were seated, the food came... out really fast! The bread and butter are PHENOMENAL. Honestly, I would probably come back just for that alone. Our crab cakeswere pretty solid too. Probably won't come back for a while just because it IS pretty pricey, but if money is not a problem foryou, Chop House is the perfect dinner outing! Read more

We went on a Wednesday evening when I would expect them to be a little slower. The restaurant was about half full. The food... seemed fresh, well prepared and quite flavorful. We had the fried shrimp and calamari appetizer. It was fresh, well prepared andtasty, not overly chewy like you get in a lot of restaurants not on the coast. I had the Chop House burger with french fries, itwas cooked as I asked and brought to the table hot. The tomato and onion was fresh and the lettuce still had some crunch. Theinterior reminds me of a 30 year old upscale dinner club that has been allowed to fade. They need more or brighter lighting. They need to address the aged look of the chairs, worn edges and upholstery. Overall it is predominantly brown. There is nothinghip or current about the decor. We were seated right away. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. Our food was preparedquickly and brought to the table without delay. Overall it was a pleasant dining experience. Read more

We ordered only 3 dishes for dinner and waited like FOREVER for them to come out. The restaurant was not even busy at all. It... was so cold inside that I felt like I was in the freezer. When the foods came out and we started eating them right away, buteverything tasted so cold and disgusting to us. It was truly my WORST experience I had on an EXPENSIVE meal. We spent more than$131 plus $15 tip when our foods were way more AWFUL than McDonald's. That was our first and LAST time coming there to thisrestaurant! ???????? Read more

We came in tonight with a group of 4 around an hour and a half before closing time. The restraunt was not busy, and we got sat... right away. We sat and waited for a server to check on us for around 10-15 mins before we finally went and asked the hostesswhere our server was as we were thirsty. The hostess had to get our drinks because I'm assuming she couldn't find our waitress. Finally the waitress shows up around 5-8 mins of more waiting to get our order. At this point we are not happy at all, but wewere still mannered and polite. Anyways we all order and just wait for the appetizer to be brought out. The bread was stale andhard as a brick. The appetizer itself was fine. The prime rib was overcooked, but the rest of the food was great. However, wehad to ask multiple times for more refills as our waitress never checked on us. Luckily there was another guy who came and gotour drinks, and did more for us then our waitress. Bottom line: It's unacceptable at this price point to have the service( orlack thereof) that we had. Also a customer shouldn't have to ask for basic things such as silverware, drink refills, and whereour waitress is in the first place. Anyways... Thank you to the guy who came and checked on us when she didn't, your AMAZING. Read more

The food was good but wish they seasoning the steak a little more. The server needs to train more before starting to serve.... Doesn't know what is the market price for the menu and not even trying to find it out. Brought bread without bread plates.salads and entrees came out at the same time. I like Chophouse but I was a little disappointed at this location. Read more
