We loved dining at The Brass Pearl! You pick and choose which oysters you want based on the source and flavor, and they were all... tasty. We also ordered the fisherman’s stew, which had a medley of seafoods on a bed of risotto in spicy tomato sauce. Ihighly recommend that unless you don’t like tomato based soups. Overall, we were a table of 2 on a Friday night and had awonderful experience! Read more

Having lived in Miami for decades, I found myself wondering just how good an oyster bar in the middle of land-locked Knoxville,... TN could be. Fortunately, I was wowed! For starters, this a spot is simply a place you want to be in. The color palate, theblending of woods, brass, and glass make for a sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere. As with most great restaurants, the staffis the element that takes the experience to another level and, for me, is what determines whether or not I will frequent aplace. Our server Paige made this experience go from nice to exceptional. Usually, Paige is behind the bar, so we were extralucky to have had her waiting on us. She made great suggestions, mixed us her specialty drink (Spice, Spicy, Baby!), and made usfeel welcome and special thanks to her friendly, warm personality. She knew just when to check in and just when to give us spaceto talk and luxuriate in the experience. The drinks were on point! We kicked off on the shooters. Gorgeous and delectable. Iconsider myself annoyingly snobby when it comes to martinis and these were perfect, especially the one with whipped blue cheesestuffed olives. As for the food - wow. I did not expect to find such fresh seafood all the way out here, but the oysters wereexquisite! They were fresh, cold, and the shuckers did a great job prepping them. The lobster bisque was flavorful and notoverly creamy. My husband’s oyster Po’ Boy was incredible featuring crusty bread and expertly fried oysters. I decided to gofor the steak frites and have to say the steak was the best I have had in Knoxville! And the fries were irresistible and dustedin Old Bay. Writing this is making me want to go back right now! Read more

Had a really good time here. The bartender and all other staff were friendly with a good sense of humor. The food was... excellent, though pricey. We enjoyed the grilled oysters with parmesan and butter so much, we ordered another round. The lobsterbisque had chunks of lobster in it, and I could eat a whole pot of it! The seaweed used as decoration by the oysters is alittle off-putting... Looks like twigs and dirt. The guy next to us got the caviar and it looked like a bento box of stuff..looked really good! Definitely appreciate how there are no TVs at the bar. Read more

We stopped here while in town for the 4th of July and had a great time. The food is really amazing and the atmosphere is quiet... and relaxing. The only disappointing thing was that the oysters are overpriced, which was shocking since we were in Knoxville.Nevertheless, we really enjoyed coming here and look forward to eating here again. If you are in Knoxville and love seafood, youwill love this place. Read more

My husband and I went for the first time last night and we were not disappointed!!!!! It was AMAZING!!!!!! The server, Anna, was... so friendly, attentive, and helpful to our questions. The shuckers talked to my husband and gave him pointers on choosingoysters and methods for easy shucking. And the oysters......oooooohhh my goodness, AMAZING!!!! Our favorites were Salty Birdsand French Kisses, but all we tried were fresh and tasty; those 2 were just our personal favorites. We had 34 oysters betweenthe 2 of us and the lobster dip was pretty darn awesome as well. Perfect for a date night! Beautiful decor as well. Great jobKnoxville! This place is a jewel!! Read more

We’ve been wanting to try this place for a while and I’m glad we finally made it there! The fisherman’s stew was amazing... and the oysters were fresh and tasty. My date really enjoyed his oyster shot. The cocktails were really good, I especially lovedthe Shipfaced. The place is beautifully decorated and the service was good. Will definitely return! Salinity and sweetness has never found a shell like this in Knoxville. From the whimsical urban movie culture on the walls, to... the rarely ever seen ship-in-a-bottle, what dwells beneath the facade is a GM named Taylor that is skilled in and connected toocean cuisine at the freshest possible point, as well as wise with hiring shuckers and chefs that understand seafoodpreparation. The time has come Knoxville to go underwater and familiarize with the foundation of food, where all life began onEarth, in the water. Read more

What a great dinner spot! The mussels are so delicious they’re worth the work to get them open. The fire grilled octopus was... so good. A friend got the lobster Mac and cheese, she was not disappointed. I love a Negroni, so I was thrilled to see they havea fabulous mezcal version. A few other tables ordered a cool looking drink called shipwreck—a rum drink with grapefruit andcoconut water, it comes with a sugar cube that is lit on fire. Looked super fun! Overall a great experience and I can’t waitto come back! Read more
