I miss Fountain City Diner but I was happy to see Chris Ford open shop near my office. I'll definitely come back and try out... more offerings. Staff was extra friendly and provided good service, even with our 8 top. I like the brick wall and exposed woodrafters decor. The brisket was tender and a decent portion with the cost of brisket these days. The potato salad was a uniquetexture, kind of a cross between whipped potatoes and potato salad. The slaw wasn't my favorite with large chunks of slightlybitter cabbage but my guess is that is due to a supply chain issue, which restaurants are struggling with all around. Well, we finally made it to Sweet P's and it was well worth it. My brisket was fork tender and so delicious. My son had a... brisket burger and the wife had pulled pork which she said needs no sauce, just that good. I highly recommend the collard greensand things and the in house made pork rinds are the best I've ever had (and I've eaten a lot of pork rinds). Friendly folks,good atmosphere, good service. Ain't yo Momma's Meatloaf... 'cause she'd fed you more! It was good and sides were spot on, but the meat portion was sad for... $13... it was no bigger than a regular candy bar. Read more

I really like the downtown location so I was super excited to see them open a location right by my office. I must admit that I... was really disappointed when I stopped in there for dinner... The service was absolutely horrible - it was super disorganizedand took forever to get a waitress to stop by after I was seated. I don't know if it was just the new staff or poor managementbut I was disappointed to say the least. The food was ok - you could tell it had been sitting. I am a big fan of the downtownlocation and have eaten there a lot but here not so much. Read more
I absolutely adore this location. It's my weekly go-to (sometimes twice a week) for fried pickles and pork rinds. The Philly... special and the burgers are amazing specials. If you love pineapple they sometimes have a smoked pineapple and jalapenomargarita! Overall, the food is amazing and the staff are simply fantastic. I could write an entire review for each staffmember and still not have said enough about how helpful and knowledgeable they all are. There's a rotating selection ofbeers/cider so you can't go wrong. My biggest complaint is the parking but I try to go there when it's less busy. Read more
