Quick service, friendly employees, the food bar was up to my wife and I expectations. Only disappointment is this location does... not have enough employees working on the evening/night shift.. I make this statement, because my wife and I only received onedrink refill the entire hour and a half we were sitting inside eating! Not once did either of us receive a single refill afterordering our beverages! Do NOT eat here If you'd enjoy a refreshing, cold, and refillable beverage! Read more
I have been going to the Shoney's on Chapman Hwy for at least forty years. I'm not a person who likes to complain but I went... Friday evening and the food was terrible. The rolls was hard and the food was cold. When I said something when I paid there wasno apology and no effort to compensate. I would have ordered something besides the bar but the menu has been cut down to nothingon it. I really hate this has happened to this restaurant but I will not return until it's fixed. It wasn't just me I went witha friend and her food was bad to and I heard people talking at the bar how bad everything was. So I left still hungry 18dollars later. So your guy called and just apologized and that was it, didn't offer no compensation for a wasted dinner. SorryShoney's I expected more from you. Sooo this was a really great experience... not only was the food good and my family was comfortable, but the scenery in the... surrounding area was amazing especially the sunrise near by and the bathroom was clean. Read more
Went ahead and gave Shoney's another try. The last Shooneys I went to was a one star. However this one was great the food was... great the only reason it did not get five stars is that the food was not hot at all. Warm at best. I love the buffet here. It never disappoints me. From breakfast to yummy lunch, you can find what you want to eat. Every day has... a different main dish also, so make sure you read the board when you walk in. The ladies that work here are awesome and the 50'smusic is such a nice touch. Very impressive! Read more
